House of the Dead Overkill is Vile

I don't understand how a game like this could get released. The opening cinematic is a movie of a stripper dancing around a pole.

Before even getting into the game one of the main characters says "mother fucker" about a dozen times and says "I'm gonna rip your mother fuckin balls off"

Ridiculous that crap like this is going to take sales away from Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers.

It plays like the other House of the Dead games and is sufficiently entertaining. It's House of the Dead in a more self-aware Grindhouse setting.

It's a fun game, the scoring and combo system adds to replayability. Blows umbrella chronicles away. Wish wii had better graphics

Yeah, the dialouge is over the top on purpose; it's campy, you're supposed to laugh at it. Not like say, Gears of War, where they talk the same way but it's meant to be serious and super tough and only serves to induce the douche chills.

That's absolutely disgusting. I like my zombie murder simulator games to be clean and wholesome. No adult situations or coarse language for me, no sir! I am writing a polite but firm letter to my congressman. I suggest you do the same if you want to keep garbage like this out of the hands of small children across the country. Harrumph!

I hope suburbanite soccer-moms unknowingly buy this for their precious spawn, thinking it's just another family-friendly Wii game.

With a name like "Overkill" you'd think they'd have eased up a bit.

This reminds me of that Onion article about how there's too much swearing in Porn.

This game fucking rules.

Yeah, people just can't see how this game is all about games getting more "serious" and "mature".

Re: House of the Dead Overkill is Vile

Bought this for my bride for Valentine's Day. She bought me Left 4 Dead for my birthday last Monday. We like zombies, it would seem.

Looking forward to playing this later tonight.
