The deal that the dash has is 14 months for $50. You get a far better deal with any of the usual renewal card deals. I think Amazon has 12 mo for $40 now. Pretty sure that's a better bargain.

Yeah, I'm expiring on 12/22 anyway. It's just a matter of they seem to allow you to use a pre-paid code in conjunction with the deal as well as a credit card. I'll go check now. My luck the promotion will be gone.

Gives Live the infrastructure to support the new wireless N adapter slated to release later this year.

Facebook, Twitter, LiveFM, & Zune video are still on track to release in November in another update.

OK the hats and tees are cool because they have actual logos on them but the shoes are just 2 colors there is nothing special about them besides being 2 toned. Boo.

Quick warranty repair question:

When you send your XBox in because of a RROD problem, do they replace the unit, or repair it?

Nowadays, they usually repair it, but there are no guarantees. If it is repaired, it will probably come back 5x as loud as it was before.

^ That's what happened with mine. The noise is to the point where I just want to sell off my pro to get an Arcade unit with HDMI and some piece and quiet.

^ My experience as well. Same unit, loud as a fighter jet. Sold it to an employee of mine along with its original 20 GB HDD ( ), bought a new Jasper Arcade and swapped in my current 120 GB drive. Barely cost me anything out of pocket.

I just sent mine out a couple of weeks ago. Came back with a different unit, much quieter.

If that's the case, then they should have just called it "the only conference that matters" collection.
