Like you guys, I'd probably get Titans or Tenn Vols jerseys. I can't help but think a "Derek Smalls Zucchini" accessory would sell well.

Wow, nice promotion here. I'm posting it here and the XBLA thread as well. Count me in :up:

July 22: 'Splosion Man 800 ($10)
July 29: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 1200 ($15)
August 5: TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled 1200 ($15)
August 12: Trials HD 1200 ($15)
August 19: Shadow Complex 1200 ($15)
Just adding those up -- carry the one --- that's a free $10 for spending $70 on Xbox Live. Keep in mind it's $10 you can only spend on Xbox Live (or Zune Marketplace). While the deal might seem silly at first glance, it does essentially boil down to five XBLA games for $60, the price of one retail game. And, as another Joystiq editor pointed out, that retail game could never be 'Splosion Man.

It's a nice bonus if you already plan to pick up all the games. If you don't, you'll be saving money anyway. Everybody wins!

I could maybe see myself buying a cool shirt for a dollar, but all of this stuff is not something I would pay for. Especially $4 for a radio control warthog.

The new achievement page is interesting. It is kind of like the platinum trophies on Playstation and gives you incentive to get all the achievements just to try and fill that first page with game icons. Outside of the lego games though I doubt there are many I could get a 1000 achievement points on.

I think I have completed around 40 games so it should be interesting to see how that looks once I get the update...

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but can anyone confirm if the new update also tells you what someone is specifically watching on Netflix? I saw someone from here on my friend's list and it totally listed the show they were watching. It never did that before that I ever saw.

If that's the case then I need to get this queued up for my downtime, so it's always playing.

Yeah, that's a new feature of the dashboard. You can change your settings to not show what you're watching when it gets really kinky.

That's awesome. I'm gonna find the most f'ed up stuff to play on there when I'm in on the computer. :lol:

With the new update did they finally add a eject for the disc drive on the dashboard ?

Yes, but I don't understand why this is a big deal. You still need to get up to change discs. Call me when there are robots that do this for me.

Well the big deal for me is I don't like pressing the open disc drive button on my 360 it feels like it's going to break sometimes. I often just use my remote to open the drive. Also when you have been through six 360's like myself you tend to not want to touch the console and cross your fingers it doesn't break if you do.

They do exist. They're called women.

They sent out the next round of preview emails. If you weren't in the first group, check your mail.

Has Sacred 2 had a price drop yet? Liver was talking about it a while back and it sounded pretty intriguing (as in i could go for a Diablo II clone). Is it a perfectly good single player game or do you need to have people with which to play the game?

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

Sacred 2 is amazing single player and co-op....my friend and I logged over 100 hours into that baby and got all 1000 achievements :)

They need DLC now!

Heads-up to anyone who is in the dashboard update trial...

It seems that most, if not all installs are smaller on re-install. If you're worried about HDD space, then you can uninstall and reinstall and probably save at least a gig per game.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

^ I've done this for a few games so far:

RB2 6.3GB -> 4.6GB :D
Mass Effect 6.8GB -> 6.8GB :|
HP6 3.4GB -> 2.9GB :)

So, not every game will be smaller, but when they are, it is clearly worth it :up:

I'm always looking for a fun co op game and will definitely consider this one.

Interesting tidbit. Thanks for the tip!
