Has anyone seen this 2GB MU yet? A friend of mine got one. It's a 360 MU shell that holds a micro SD card. The packaged one comes with a 2GB card.

Not only is it larger than any MS branded MU, it's also much easier way to back up saves to your PC.

Still a bit pricey for me.

Other than the controller and rechargeable battery, why don't they make any official accessories in black? I love my new black Elite but I don't like that my memory cards, chatpad, and Induction Charger from Teckno are all white. Think they'll start making more black accessories now that there are only two SKU's, Arcade and Elite?

I found a tutorial on how to paint the chatpad black so I may try that. I'd like to paint the memory cards black too but I don't think I can pop the casing off without ruining it.

I'll keep this one in mind if my next one breaks too. Some of the reviews says it s a tight fit so i think it might interfere with my hearing aids. I'd rather try one in person to make sure it would work before spending the $$ and not having it work with my hearing aids.

I got my parts via priority US mail within 2 or 3 days. I assume the call center in the 3rd world country is told to give everyone a hard time, then at the end of the day someone from MS reviews each case and decides, 'F-it, send a headset anyway'

:lol: Nice, i'm gonna give em a call and see what they say. I ended up getting a mic from a friend of mine who got an Elite but doesn't play on Live. So i'm good to go again. Thanks for your help guys. :up:

Old reply to an old query of mine that I never followed up on. I have a couple codes for "Banjo-Kazooie" and I'm not sure which one I've used.

Got a question:

I'm sending in my red ringed xbox. Took off the faceplate and the hard drive. What else do I need to do before sending it in? Do I keep the controller and the cables?

Yes keep them as they just want the Box (at least they did when mine red ringed last year). Did they send you a coffin? Heard they were stopping that.

They wanted my AC power brick & cable the last time I sent one in. The coffin they sent me was larger than usual to accommodate for it.

The back story for anyone who cares.... Spider had the absolute ugliest xbox shirt i had ever seen in my life. It had the outlines of 3 controllers in large neon colors down the side of the shirt. It also had some big logo on the back of whatever box tops were mailed in to get the shirt.

So i was at a yard sale one day and saw a hideous xbox beanie with a giant Pop-Tarts! logo on the back and just knew he needed it to complete the look. :lol:

I put it on one evening and acted like I was going to wear it out and my wife threatened to put it in the shredder if I ever wore it out of the house.

Man I was going to post a comment to your last post saying I was suprised she did not threaten you with no "playtime" or something to that extent if you wore the shirt out. BUT then you post the above, man if this don't put you in the doghouse nothing would :)

you know, I hope they allow you to wear these at any time of the year. It would be funny if someone drops 300 points on a hand knit scary wolf costume, only to find it becomes a bunny costume at easter lol

I'm usually a sucker for anything red & black, but I'm not impressed. Well, not $70 impressed anyway. Who needs a play and charge kit at this point? Just give me the $40 controller.
