Completely agreed about the Girl's Not Grey song. Definitely more challenging than the 3 it's ranked at. I had to play through it a few times to get comfortable with the song and keep a streak going.

I scored so poorly on both of those songs on Expert I had to step down to Hard and even then I just couldn't get a streak going. I guess I've been playing too much guitar on GH:Metallica lately. My drumming skills have just eroded.

I've played this weeks song (GYOW) a couple times, but I'm kinda embarrassed to submit a score...what if I really do suck that bad, lol I try killing my streak, but I get carried away and don't want it to end.

Who cares? The more submissions, the better!

Look at me. I got beat out by over 100K on this last one.

Even though I already listened to the songs and watch the charts for the other two, I think the power of Take Me Out's awesomeness might have just sold the whole pack to me.

I don't recall being this excited for any other pack. I can't wait to see the drum tracks for these songs.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

I bought the Franz pack without checking out the charts and never having heard "Lucid Dreams." It's a great pack, especially LD.

"Smooth Criminal" is a lot of fun, too. And no surprise, the Allman Bros songs are the shit. That solo in "Blue Sky" is just so fun to play. One of my top 5 solos in the game at this point.

This has been an incredible couple of weeks, and I'm still planning on picking up JA at some point soon.

Um, wow. The Smooth Criminal drum chart looks insane, especially during the guitar solo!

I was good up until about 75% and then...insta-fail!

I need to replay it tonight and save up my star power for that part.

Overall, it's a good week for drummers - lots of tricky, intricate patterns.

As if Smooth Criminal is the first cover in the video game?!?

Do you think Kids in America was originally by The Muffs?
Do you think Train Kept A Rollin was originally by Aerosmith?
Do you think I Fought The Law was originally by The Clash?
Do you think Hard To Handle was originally by The Black Crowes?
Do you think It's My Life was originally by No Doubt?

Speaking of covers... Harmonix should have used Faith No More's Warpigs instead of the Black Sabbath knock off.

That would be cool, but I'd much rather have the entire Antichrist Superstar album.

Manson is one of those artist whos absence is particularly strange... I think he had one song in GH III perhaps, but really, where is all his other stuff... I would love to see a 6pack of Manson hits

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

At this point, I will take any Manson. But he could easily fill a 6 pack.

And at least give us Dragula if they touch Zombie again.

Are you talking about that terrible DLC remix of Putting Holes In Happiness? It was really repetitive and eliminated the majority of the vocals, I was very disappointed in it...
I'd much rather have the ORIGINAL versions of his songs, as well as them being tracks from his better albums (did not like his last album much at all)....give me something from Mechanical Animals soon please!

I liked the charting (on hard). I didn't know it was a remix, but I thought it was pretty fun to play.
