Oh! I thought it sounded like him, but then not so much. It actually made me wonder if it was present-day Cronin on top of the original music. Then I figured I was wrong altogether and it was Murphy. It probably makes more sense that it's an alternate Cronin vocal track from the original recordings.

Do you think the note highways will be (optionally) LEGO-skinned?

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

That's what I was thinking. While GH has the round note thing going, little round lego studs as notes would be pretty cool.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

I was just thinking the ol' rectangular 2x1s. Studs fit in better with the LEGO VG franchise but may be too close to GH for HMX's taste.

I don't usually care about achievements but to have one song keep you from completing a difficulty and get the achievement seems kinda cruel.

I am talking to you "Raining Blood" on GH3! FU!

Completely agree.

It also seems unnecessary. Why not just have LEGO characters as a download for the current game?

One train of thought I've read is that they're going to try for an E rating on this and keep the song selection more family friendly. If this is the case, then there is a reason for this as a stand-alone title. Further it'll either have no DLC or be limited in what is available. However, the content would be exportable to RB2+.

This is probably as much about TT getting a LEGO title out this year as it is Harmonix getting out another RB title.

I can understand the frustration. But I thought most of the achievements in RB2 were independent of difficulty? Is there one you're going for that requires playing Visions on Hard or Expert?

Endless Setlist 2 on H or X. Visions is why I didn't do it on Hard on my solo run last year.

I don't know if I could handle doing medium for six hours.

UncleGramps 04-21-09 12:56 PM

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Oh, okay. I would have to do that one on Hard, since I think I can get through all of the on-disc songs on Hard drums. I haven't had a free weekend to devote to that daunting task just yet.

Hey, if anyone wants to devote a day to doing it online, I'm up for it.

Well, sure, there was Highway Star in RB1, and then Space Truckin' as DLC.

Oh, wait.

The other DP.

I get it now. :sarcasm:

I don't. I mean, I get laid by L&O, but I don't understand the abbreviation. Donkey Punch?

Has it really come to this? We really need to explain "DP" in the Rock Band thread?

It's best if you just close your eyes and hope for the best.

REOStyx is my favourite DLC pack ever on all instruments! I've guitared and drummed (on our new work ION kit) and can not wait to sing Renegade and Take It On The Run later tonight. My only gripe is the guitar on the re-records sounds a little organlike, but aside from that everything is spectacular and I love it!

Dick play? Double Penetration?

Speaking of which, we need some DVDA in Rock Band.
