…with a steelbook, for anyone who’s into that.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
That is an amazing price for a truly great and special game. It’s so cool.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I sold my PS5 copy after I beat it. Agreed that it's an excellent game, but I'll be waiting for it to hit Game Pass before I revisit it. :)

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I would get it if I could ever get a PS5....
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Day 11 is NBA2K22: $19.99 - $24.99, depending on platform. Includes a steelbook.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I picked up a copy of The Falconer Day One Edition at Best Buy for $9.99 (and thought that was the DotD).

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Current Epic store PC game sale has some insane prices-
As I said in the other thread I picked up: Fenyx Rising- $14 AC: Valhalla- $20 Eternal Cylinder- $13 A lot of good stuff there. I think I'm going to get more before it's over. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Saints Row 4 is like $2.50 on the Nintendo eShop.
Don't need it on the switch, probably won't play it. Had to get it for that price |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Day 12 at Best Buy is Far Cry 6 for $24.99.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Me, every December : “Fuck! I will never buy an Ubisoft game at launch again!”
Me, every September: “Guess what I just pre-ordered…” |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Lol seriously! Between backlog, price drops, and sales, I'm learning to shop video games like I shop at Kohl's - never pay full (60$) price.
Even the games that retail for 20-40 eventually (and not all that slowly) drop. Especially, for some reason, Ubisoft. Costco.com has ~$100 of Microsoft/Xbox credit for $80 through the end of today. Digital delivery within an hour, and you can choose 1 $100 code or 4x25 codes. Limit 2. (Their regular price is 90 for 100 which is still a savings.) |

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Not sure honestly...Maybe? Because they add credit to your MS account, so if you're auto-paying for Live, it'll take it from there?
But please don't quote me or make a buying decision solely on my words because I'm honestly not sure. I converted from Live Gold to Game Pass a couple years back and since then I just look for deals on GPU and stock up on those. They also have a deal on Game Pass Unlimited, 2 pack of 3 month cards, for $70 (their regular price, $80, retail, $90.) That's not the best price I've ever seen, I've gotten them before for 20-25 for a 3 month, but that's the best price I see right now (without working too hard at price hunting.) These prices expire today, 12/20/21. Sorry for just now mentioning them. But these, at least the GPU, fluctuate a bit in price (I notice I missed Amazon having them for 25 or 30 a couple weeks ago.) |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
As long as you don't get one with the A button issues, it's totally worth it. Sadly, chances are about 50/50.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I had one with a bumper issue - would either not register I pressed it or would register I pressed it twice.
The replacement, one of the rubber selectors on the back tore off, so I had to glue it back on. Other than that, pretty awesome controller with good weight. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Day 15 is Call of Duty: Vanguard, but either it’s a lackluster $49.99 for all platforms, or the prices haven’t populated yet.

It's a damn good controller, though. Maybe the Elite 3 will be even better. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I'm surprised they didn't come out with the Elite 3 for Halo and the holidays this year.
