Spider-Man on PS4 is $40 at Amazon (physical or digital)

For those of you that have a Meijer near you, they're running a Buy 1 Get 1 40% off sale this week on most video games. It excludes Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and value video games ($20 or less), but it does include all other Switch games, which most similar promotions from other retailers do not.

Also starting Thursday, they are running their annual Santa Bucks promotion, which stacks with this, and allows you to take an additional $10 off one item priced 49.99 or more.

When they did this same sale last year, the Santa Bucks coupon applied to each game, and worked based on the pre-discount price. So if you bought 2 $60 games, One of them is discounted to $36, and then an additional $10 is taken off of each game when you scan the Santa Bucks coupon. So $76 total pre-tax for two games.

There are a couple good deals on the Playstation store right now. Dragon Age Inquistion: Game of the Year Edition is $9.99 and Persona 5 is $24.99. I want to get both of them, but I spent too much on Black Friday. I'm going to have to wait until they're on sale again later on...

Tetris Effect is down to $19.99 at GameStop and Amazon.

Looks like it's not available direct through Amazon at the moment. Hope it comes back up today because I really don't want to go into a GameStop for this.

Yeah they're all pretty accessible around here too, but it goes from being a no brainier impulse buy through Amazon to (minimal) actual effort to go into GameStop.

If you have a Samsung Pay app on your phone, you can buy a $25 Game Stop gift cardfor $22.50 to save a little money.

Or if you have a Dollar General nearby they have Gamestop giftcards on sale this week. The weekly ad initially stated $10 off $50 but it was supposedly changed to $5 off $25. Can't be used on the variable giftcards, only the $25 ones.

Seems like it's on and off at Amazon. It wasn't available all morning, but I checked about an hour ago and it was there, so I was able to grab one then.

If you subscribe to Microsoft's emails, look for one with the subject "Save $100 on Xbox One X consoles" Near the bottom of the email, you'll see a couple of trees:
