Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
If you live near five below or don't mind paying shipping, they have select lego dimension fun packs for 2 for $5. I think the sale ends Friday.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Buy 2 Get 1 Free All Video Games & Board Games @ Target *10/30 -11/05*
So Best Buy will probably have theirs the week after that. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Borderlands The Handsome Collection is free for Xbox One right now: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/stor...e/bvrk77xxgbwb
Courtesy of Microsoft. Nobody knows if it's just a weekend thing or a permanent thing, but hey whatever. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
^^ Nice!
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Thanks! Just snagged it.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
It's a free weekend trial, at least according to CAG.

That's still confusing, is it free to own until the 30th (and then goes back to $59.99), or free to play until the 30th?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
So who has the better buy 2, get 1 free sale? Best Buy with GCU or at Target with the debit card, cartwheel, and possible coupons?
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
? Isn't BB a slam dunk, unless there's some killer cartwheel deal I'm unaware of?
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
A friendly reminder that...

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
The Target prices are so inflated for pc games that even after factoring the discount they're the same price as Steam, but get tax added to them.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Apparently if you only want 1 or 2 games from target.com, you can actually order 3 games then cancel the ones you don't want to get the prorated price. I am waiting for a best buy b2g1 so I didn't try it.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I picked up some $20 games in case Best Buy doesn't do theirs. If they do, I'll pick up there and return the Target ones. RE4, Batman VR & Until Dawn VR.
And yes, with the way they ring up at Target you can return any of the games you don't want since each game is individually discounted. |

Those with Amazon Prime may be interested in this.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2...oday/93098696/ Amazon's Black Friday deals start today ..."With a new holiday season, there are incentives to draw users to the company $99-per year premium Prime offering. In addition to free two-day shipping, Prime members will receive an additional 20% off on pre-order and new release video games as well as the ability to shop "thousands of Lightning Deals" with a 30-minute head start versus non-members." |

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
The local Sams Club locations look to be clearing out some of the few video games they have left. I went to two stores, and the selection was a little different, but the prices were the same. So YMMV at your local club.
XBOX ONE Rainbow Six Siege 19.91 Battleborn 9.91 Lego Marvel Avengers <strike>9.91</strike> 14.91 PS4 Rainbow Six Siege 14.91 Battleborn 14.91 Street Fighter V 14.91 Lego Marvel Avengers 14.91 Far Cry Primal 24.91 Also all Skylanders SuperCharger Figures/Vehicles/Starter packs are 7.91 |

XBOX ONE Rainbow Six Siege 19.91 Battleborn 9.91 Lego Marvel Avengers 9.91 Wow, I would easily buy the last two at that price. Except my Sam's are usually nearly devoid of any video games at decent prices. I want to go check, but I fear the worst (and we shop primarily at Costco). If anybody in Houston/Katy find these to be true, post back here. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Too bad Lego Avengers isn't on samsclub.com so I can check pricing / availability.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
If you are a GCU member, Best Buy is having a great sale on Lego Dimensions. Everything is basically 60% off with GCU. Fun Packs are a bit less than 60% but close enough. Sadly preorders aren't included.
Also some console games: Batman: The Telltale Series $15.99 Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure $15.99 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition $24.99 Madden NFL 17 $31.99 NASCAR Heat Evolution $31.99 Rock Band 4 Band-in-a-Box Bundle $119.99 No Man's Sky $23.99 |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Also Borderlands The Handsome Collection (PS4/XBO) for $15.99
The site doesn't list a sale going on, so I'm not sure what's up with the random price drops. And if you click on some of those games (say Witcher 3) it shows $49.99 but drops to $24.99 with GCU. |

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Anyone waiting on the BB B2G1 might want to jump on the Target deal going on this week. Because it's not happening at BB next week. Instead they are having a "Buy select games at $59.99 or less and get the second for 40% off." The major titles are listed, but may include more in store. So unless they do it the week before Black Friday, it's probably not happening this year.
