Got Ori and the Blind Forest DE yesterday from New Egg. Actually, the digital code is not a code, it's on the first game disc with the DE copy. It doesn't play without the disc either. So it's not really a digital copy. It's both games on the same disc. I'm still happy with the purchase just wish they explain things correctly (I still would have purchased it at 11.99 regardless).

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

It looks like that Best Buy BF in July sale is now available to all Best Buy reward members. It sucks that GCU doesn't stack, because a good chunk of those games have been the same price or even cheaper in the past. Still some great prices on Wii U games though, since most of those don't ever hit that low.

Again, GCU should stack. The WiiU games, for example, are $29.99 for the general public and $23.99 for GCU. The only difference is that if you have GCU and are signed on, it automatically shows the discount when you view the price throughout the site, instead of just in your cart.

Ah, I guess that was it then. It was showing me the same price in my cart as the product page. My mistake.

Starting on August 28, 2016, Best Buy will offer free 2-day shipping for new video games, among many other items, for a minimum purchase of $35 if you're a My Best Buy member. For other higher ranked members, no minimum purchase is required.

We've listened to what matters most to members, and are excited to tell you about a core benefit available to you. We are now making it easier for you to get the latest technology quickly with Free 2-Day Shipping (with no annual fee) on thousands of items when you shop at BestBuy.comŽ or by using our mobile app. You can take advantage of Free In-Store Pickup when you need your technology even faster.

Qualifying items display a "Free 2-Day Shipping on Orders $35 and Up" message. Movies, music, pre-owned games, special order, scheduled delivery and other select items do not qualify. The $35 order total is after coupons and taxes, and does not include select digital downloads, e-gift cards, special orders, scheduled delivery items, and any items canceled or removed from the order.

The standard launch Xbox One controller is my least favorite controller of all time. I hate it.

The Elite, however, is wonderful. Better sticks, better bumpers, better overall feel. It's worth the price, imo.

Agreed on both. Massive improvement of an incredibly flawed controller.

Not that Deadpool is anyone's Game of Any Year, Ever contender, but it's on clearance at Best Buy. $13.59 for the Xbox One if you have GCU. PS4 is a few bucks more.

I had no idea all the wacky stuff that rides shotgun with Best Buy preorders these days. Gears of War 4 comes with a free copper mug and coaster (?!). Forza Horizon 3 comes with a free controller stand/skin.

Thanks though...

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

You could always go to Target or Walmart and price match since it's listed on the website. They are not going to take the time to see if it's available in the area.

I too would have liked the Deadpool game as it has been on my wish list for sometime, but alas not in my area either. Of course, if anyone wanted to pick me up a copy if available in their area, I wouldn't exactly say no...

Didn't Wal-Mart quit pm'ing? Or is that just in certain stores/areas? I thought I read somewhere that they had stop doing it.

Nope, they are still doing it. On Amazon though it has to be in stock and shipped by Amazon. No third party stuff.

Yeah knew 'bout those promos for GEARS 4, FH3 and the awesome Branded Hat for ReCore, a couple months back but didn't think anyone would care 'bout them
