Don't know if this qualifies as a "deal", but someone over at SD posted that there are some DLC that is showing up as free for Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

For the XO: search Runaway Train
PS4: search Runaway Train and The Dreadful Crimes

I threw this in over in the Bungie-Destiny topic but Amazon has the Destiny Standard Edition for the PS4 at $14.98 today and I believe the Taken King Legendary is $49.00...so anyone with a PS4 or thinking of getting one, around $65.00 will get you both Destiny Games which is not bad at all.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

It was mentioned in the Destiny thread, but just to clarify here also:The Taken King Legendary edition includes the original Destiny game, so you only have to pay the $49 to get ALL the content that has been released to date.

You don't have to spend the extra $15. $49 gets you EVERYTHING.

Yea...my bad and I should've caught it. But look on the bright side...you can take that $10 savings and spend on crap like this if you wish....yes it's $10...

Same here. I enjoyed the little bit of Evolve I played but it reminded me of Left 4 Dead... a great group game that just never gets played due to being terrible without three other friends.

So at 5$ I will give it another stab and hopefully have a handful of good games with it.

Buy an XB1 at Amazon, get a free game. Pretty good deal considering most of the bundles offered also come with at least one game. Also, you don't have to pick a game from their list. It looks like just about any game that is shipped and sold by Amazon works. It says excludes Halo 5 and Assassins Creed Syndicate, but as of right now it's working.

I finally ordered one because of this deal. Thank you for posting. I picked up the Forza special edition bundle with Halo 5 as the free game for $389 before tax (an extra $10 off for Prime). I look forward to finally getting to play Ori and the Blind Forest. It's weird they would say that Halo 5 doesn't apply when it does. It seems like the opposite of good marketing.

Huh. I just walked through the order and it only offered me 5.00 extra off for Prime (I chose the bundle with Rare Replay.)
I'm still leaning toward the Dell deal - extra controller is one of those things that's worth it (to me) and don't drop in price often/much. Is it sad that I'm actually considering purchasing a new console primarily for one game?

Not really, I bought the Xbox One for Forza Horizon 2 as I already had a PS4 for the handful of multi-console games I wanted.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

With Halo 5 out now and Tomb Raider just around the corner, the Xbox One had finally hit the tipping point of having enough exclusives for me to bite. And now that some of the older exclusives are cheaper (Horizon 2, Ryse, Rare Replay), I felt like a good bundle was all I was waiting for. I know I'm supposed to be more excited for Fallout 4, but I'm really looking forward to being able to play Tomb Raider on Nov. 10, especially with the next day being a holiday.

Supermallet 10-28-15 07:39 PM

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Yeah, Tomb Raider and Rock Band 4 were my big reasons for getting an Xbox One (since I had all the previous Rock Band games on the 360, I need the One to get the songs as DLC on 4). I'll get Halo at some point when it's on sale, maybe Black Friday.

Walmart.com has some crazy prices on used games right now, such as Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS4) and Alien: Isolation (XB1) for $6.88.

That's pretty nice. Does Walmart include the original cases/coverart with their used games or is just the disc like the crap Best Buy tried to pull on me a few weeks ago :)?

Walmart also has The Talos Principle (PS4) for $20. Everyone else lists it at $50.
