Tempting, but I can't bring myself to get rid of my GameCube games. Loved that little system... Maybe if Nintendo had them available digitally I'd be more inclined.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I went to Target to trade in my copy of inFAMOUS and of course the person working the mobility store leaves an hour earlier than the store itself closes so I wound up arriving 10 minutes too late

this after having to pick a location that wasn't my closest Target because that one doesn't have a "mobility store"

One other thing of note, for Floridians, Target is making people spend the money in store, no gift cards on the transaction. Something about a state law.

Word of caution, before heading out to Target in the morning, make sure of the hours for the mobile person. The mobile person at my local store doesn't come in until 3 PM.

If you really want to make a killing in flipping and are a member of BJ's Wholesale Club, they are currently selling Gran Turismo 6 for $19.99. As of now, you would get $54.96 in Target credit.

It's not going to last much longer. BJ's is liquidating their inventory and will only sell select titles in the future.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I want a Fry's in OH and a costco that isn't 40 mins away!

I have a BJ's Wholesale and a Sams Club about 10 minutes from me. I would trade both of them for a Costco.

Anyone know if BB is doing double tradein? I wanted to compare the tradein values and I can't access CAG right now. Can you still use Target gc's on other store gc's?

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Thanks to those posting about the Target deal. Took in AC IV and Killzone for PS4 and Dead Rising 3 for Xbone. Walked out with a ~$140 gift card. There was a guy in front of me trading in three older games who got ~$75. He told me on his way out that he had just picked them up at Gamestop for about $20. I won't be surprised if Target kills the offer or tanks values pretty early in the week.

Yep, in less than 2 hours, the three I traded have gone from ~140 to ~$110.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Well I was thinking about trading in NFS Rivals, but now that the trade in dropped I don't have to worry about that anymore. Gamecube games are still holding strong though!

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Some old biddy literally just cost me $25 in Target credit. Gran Turismo 6 was worth $55 as I waited behind the old girl while she was getting a cell phone. By the time it was my turn, the price had just tanked down to $30.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Looks like all the big ones that were netting $55 yesterday are down to $45 or less. $45 is nothing to sneeze at though.

Still? Ugh, I was there around 2:45CST and got my first 3 through and she said she would do more for me not just obviously more than 3 in one transaction. So I go to finish my shopping and get the rest of my games and that is right around when the system had gone down. All i know is the ones I ws about to trade in better not go down in price, she did however give me the "receipt" of that last transaction that was about to complete and if they drop she said she would see about getting me still the price they were if they did.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Really? At the time of my posting (just a few minutes ago), she said it had only been down for about an hour. Maybe I'll just try sending them in (if that locks in the value.)
