Hey, it's an extra $50 for two games. Enough to get you started and trade them in

Ah, looks like those are, indeed, physical copies. That's a little more tempting, actually.

Tearaway is the Best Buy Deal of the Day. It's $14.99 (or $11.99 with GCU. Just yesterday I mentioned that I thought it was the second-best Vita game available. Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but regardless it's a really fun, cute game for the Vita and a must-buy at that price.

I'm going to grab a copy in a few minutes. Thanks for the heads up!

I never said it would be free. That was this guy:

However, I think it is worth the 12 bucks plus tax that I paid for it.

Hell, the 1.3 GB in memory card space that the potentially, eventually free game would take up is probably worth more than $12.

I was going to say this exact same thing. I have a 32gb card and I have most of it full.

The $25 Turtle Beach PS4 headset is $10 right now. Reviews aren't too favorable but surely it's better than the P.O.S. that came with the system, right?

That doesn't seem like such a good deal really. $15 for 4 months of Live ($45/yr) and $10 in points for $10. A bit better than MSRP, but really not much.

It's not too bad if you have credit to burn at Best Buy (or if you just want to tack on a few extra months), considering the monthly rate is about on-par with buying a year subscription @ $15 off MSRP. But yeah, better overall deals can be found on year-long cards.

I just renewed my LIVE subscription for another year, purchasing a code from this site for $42.

They emailed me a link to the code within 5 minutes of purchasing, which I activated on xbox.com.

Maybe a 12 Month code can be found cheaper elsewhere, but I really didn't search too hard though.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Gamer Club Unlocked members who still get the online digital coupons : You can grab SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge (Wii,Wii U,Xbox 360,3DS) game they sent a $10 coupon for this month for Free right now. I had to pay $2.99 shipping since my My Best Buy account got downgraded to "Peon" status and there were no copies available for pick-up. Still a great deal for anyone with kids who would be remotely interested in it. Move fast. Coupon should have arrived in your email last week (one time use)

I don't get the coupons either, but the Spongebob game is absolutely worth picking up for free. Fun platformer and kids will love it.

Thanks, looks like I'm not missing out on too much this month. I wonder why I didn't get the e mail though, since the magazine is still showing up on my iPad. I shot them an e mail, we'll see what happens.

Ridiculous that these "app" type games are so overpriced. I got this free on my Android.
