Yeah, this is what I what curious about. I know they did it for some Blu-Rays a year or two ago but wasn't sure what the policy was for games. Between Bestbuy and Walmart there are about ten games on my 'need to play before I go next gen' list for cheap.

Yep, Amazon is matching the Walmart deal now. Skylanders for One/PS4 for $37 and FIFA for $49. The rest go live later today.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

...and if Madden 25 is any indication (only 4% sold), basically no one's taking advantage of the Xbox One / PS4 titles, so they should be a breeze to get. Skylanders Swap Force sold better since it encompasses more platforms, but even it didn't sell out at Amazon. Getting NBA2K14 in a couple hours fo' sho'.

i'll keep an eye out on the price for DR3. if amazon drops it later, i'm going to contact their customer service to see if i can get the price dropped. what a screw job to people who preordered the games.

WiiU version is 100% claimed. Darn it.

Picked up the 3DS version instead... now I'll take my other 3DS set back to TRU and get $20+ back.

Amazon removed NBA2K14 as a lightning deal and replaced it with Assassin's Creed 4. D'oh.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I stopped by Walmart after work tonight since I had heard about the $49.00 sale, and found the digital double pack for Call of Duty Ghosts was on sale too.

I picked it up, and grabbed my daughter Infinity for $37.00 since she missed out this afternoon on Amazon.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

TRU has a B1G1-40% deal in store on WiiU and 3DS games so I snagged Wii U Party (w/ WiiMote - $50) and Super Mario 3D World ($60) for $90.

Now to wait until Christmas.

Heads up starting 2 hours ago, Amazon will be having lightning deals around the clock. Rumblings from a hardcore coupon site is there will be some 25$ games. I think it's a guess on their part

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Some decent deals at www.bestbuy.com

Vita for $169.99 is active (including the 3G with 8 GB card bundle)
Ratchet & Clank : Into the Nexus (PS3) $19.99
The Puppeteer (PS3)$19.99
Tearaway (PS Vita) $29.99

And yes, the 20% discount for GCU members stacks on top of the sale prices (making the $19.99 games 15.99 and the $29.99 games $23.99)

It doesn't show any video game lightning scheduled for today. Did you find a different link?

Direct from Amazon, here's the full video game calendar for tomorrow through Friday:

http://www.amazon.com/b/?_encoding=U...11&tag=dvdtalk

The very best stuff is on Thursday...inconveniently around dinner time on the East Coast! Hopefully my fiancee's family won't get too miffed at me when I take a break from turkey time to get GTA V, The Last of Us, and maybe Arkham Origins!

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I'm not seeing the 20% GCU discount showing up on the Early Black Friday sale games. I was hoping to get BF4 for the PS3 (with plans on spending an additional $10 to upgrade to PS4 version)

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Any rumors of Battlefield 4 for PS3 for $25 or less this week? I would probably bite at that price.
