Btw, other places that have posted the shoprunner deal mention that the deal is SUPPOSED to be for american express platinum users only. So don't be surprised if they go through an cancel your account at some point.

Since there's no requirement to give your CC information, I can't imagine they'd ever cancel or even know to cancel your account. Besides, they've given away free memberships before -- I've never paid and have been a member since October of last year.

No. You have to cancel your membership then sign up again. All your old orders will still be inThe history -- that what I did. I'd make damn sure it still worked before canceling your membership though.
If you're skittish, you could always sign up with another email account if you want.

Must have raised the price. It does suck for browsing. Also, the android market is typically much worse as far as sales and keeping track of prices changes verses ios. I would highly recomend an app called AppSales if you don't already have it.

I second AppSales, it's a great price tracker for the Android Market.

That said, I'm pretty sure iTunes is about as bad as Android Market for tracking sales. I typically end up using AppShopper for checking iOS app price changes.

I have a $3 credit for a Video game download from Amazon after buying Assassins Creed III from that Facebook promotion.

I hate to have it go to waste. Are there any good, cheap video game downloads you guys can recommend? I see there are some $5 games, but the download times are insane....anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 1/2 hours.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I assume this credit is only good for PC games? It sucks that I can't use it for an XBox game. Not really a PC gamer.

I'm not sure how Amazon would be able to let you download games for a console. The sizes shouldn't be a shock since a lot of the games you're looking at full retail games that come on DVD's or Blu-ray discs for the most part.

Anyway, kind of depends if your PC game is good enough to run recent games, or what you would be keen to play on it. You could try a strategy game which you wouldn't really find on consoles like Company of Heroes ($10), a smaller game like Torchlight ($5) if you haven't played it on a console already.

Is the download time really a concern? Just start the download, then switch over to something else on the PC, or walk away from the PC and play on the Xbox for a few hours.
