Or you could just steal the game.

The Best Buy mag subscription is turning out to be a good investment. Seems like one or two games with coupons become good deals each month. This month, LA Noire and Red Faction Armageddon were priced at $10 with use of the coupon at some points in time. I'm hoping for a $29.99 pricing for the game 'Catherine' before year-end as well

I picked up Red Faction: Amageddon for 9.99 from Bestbuy.com last week with no coupon required.

Free Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 PC

http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/le...tter-years-5-7

Probably a pricing error and the servers are slow as shit to download from but it's free. Make sure you check out with paypal or it will ask for a CC, if you check out with paypal it just gives you your order number and then gives you the downloader link. I'm sitting at 65 hours lol.

Thanks to CAG for this one.

If I see a game mentioned here and it's a different price in the store, I scan it to see if the lower price is in effect at the store.

Isn't there a GOY version of LA Noire coming out soonish? Is it worth it to get the current version now for cheap?

It's actually already out. Been out for about a month and its $30 bucks on Amazon as long as you are willing to wait about a month. However, if you buy the original version on the cheap and then put it together with the sale on XBL (assuming you aren't PS3) for the Rockstar Pass (all of the DLC) for $6 in points, you come out ahead.

Unfortunately, I bought the game a while back so I have to live with the fact I got the game for $25. But at least I can take part in the DLC sale.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

As someone mentioned in one of the other threads, the complete edition (360) includes "The Consul's Car" traffic case (originally a PS3 exclusive) that is not currently available as DLC.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I got an email about a Newegg sale with the following PS3 games:

Duke Nukem Forever - $9.99
God of War 3 - $15.99
Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time - $15.99
Uncharted 2 (GOTY edition) - $15.99
LittleBigPlanet (GOTY edition) - $15.99
Killzone 2 - $15.99

I know Killzone 2 has been cheaper, but I'm not sure about the others.

Very true. However in my situation since I already own the game, it's a hard sell to me personally to sell my copy and then go buy the complete edition when the DLC is $6 right now and I'm only missing one case by doing it that way. A lot of effort for very little reward.

However, I admit if I didn't already own the game, I would probably do the complete edition myself.

Oyie, I don't need to see that . I still have WWE 11 sealed from last black friday sales. In addition, I have the AAA Lucha Libre game that I bought used that I really wanted to give a try. So while that certainly interests me, I am using all my restraint right now .

Would have loved to get Green Lantern for that price but it's not available here. Holding off on everything else as I glance at my backlog.

I have at one of the locations I'm close to, so I did in store pickup. What sucks though is I have two of the other games *sigh* (Alpha Protocol and Marvel Superhero Super Squad). At least I only paid in the $15 range for them though. Can't fault myself too much.

Ha, and that's something I would do as well. Alas, there is a small chance that my wife got this one or Skyrim for me for Xmas, so I really have to hold off even though I'm tempted like hell.

Oddly I just checked again and this time it said "ship to store" was available and it allowed me to select shipping to my house. I'm guessing it'll be cancelled, but it was worth a shot.

Sucks that DQIX is only $5, I just got it for $15 from newegg a week ago (using that google offers credit though, so I guess it was more like 7.50 out of pocket).
