I was tempted by BL2 last week on that. Now that there's a decent chaining opportunity from BL2->AC3->DC3, I'm more interested. I just worry about the shipping speed and the other pre-order bonuses.

But $150 for BL2, AC3, DC2 + 4800 MSP + future $10 credit is really enticing.

Unless Microsoft's site specifically says they are offering a pre-order bonus, I wouldn't count on getting anything. I pre-ordered the Kinect back when they sent out the $50 off coupons and assumed that I would also get the helicopter avatar prop that all the other stores were offering. I was wrong.

Got $42 trade in credit for each PS3 dual shock I traded in. Base price was $30 and she gave me a 30% bonus for preordering a game for $5 and my power up 10%. So after the $5 preorder I got $79 for the two controllers.

Best Buy has all PS3 dual shock colors on sale this week for 39.99 so you can basically exchange in old worn out dual shocks for new ones.

Yeah, I got to thinking about it more... What are the pre-order bonuses I am getting really worth? I could probably sell the Borderlands Premiere Pack on eBay for a good chunk of change, though... The Necromancer class is a wash since with the MSP, she'd be purchasable easily enough. I think I'll still with Amazon and consider dropping the code off on eBay for some quick subsidizing.

That's not bad. I would have to find a game to flip back to BB though as I have a hard time spending gs credit due to the lack of deals on non used items.

Worked out great because they let me retroactively apply it to my 3DS XL purchase from a couple weeks ago. I couldn't believe it. They applied the $79 trade in credit and credited my credit card back $79.

If you have a kid, this is a great deal on the new Sesame Street game coming out. Picked it up for $30, and if you plan on getting some other game any ways like say Halo 4 you can apply the $10 credit towards that one.

There's a coupon out there that works today only where you can pick up Borderlands 2 with a total of $20 in gift cards given back (the normal deal is only 10, which is still pretty good) at TRU.

Also at TRU, you can get a Nintendo 3DS XL with a 20 dollar gift card, without having to buy an extra game. Not bad for a system that just came out a few weeks ago.

Origin has the Battlefield 3 digital download on sale for $10. As well as a bunch of older Battlefield titles. Apaprently Battlefield 3 on PC has no voice chat support... I can't believe they took a series that started off on the PC and they couldn't even bother to add voice chat.

Is the single player of Battlefield 3 worth $10? I ask because all the reviews of the SP campaign are pretty harsh.

I enjoyed it. But the multiplayer is the reason to get the game.

I've never used them before, Borderlands 2 Steam Key was delivered within a couple minutes. They did a SMS Verification for some reason but yeah, got what I paid for. Bet it's the Russian version and I bet I run into issues somewhere down the line.

It's authorized, technically, since it isn't region locked - it's just potentially from Russia.

Yeah, wrong choice of words. I just meant that they sell games to places like Russia for a much cheaper price to combat rampant piracy there and while you can redeem that CD key here (and folks on CAG do it all the time), I just don't think it's worth messing with something as important as a Steam account. I seriously, seriously don't think it could possibly cause anything worse than maybe having the game deleted from your account (and even that seems super-unlikely), but personally, I choose not to even tempt fate in this one regard.

Still makes it sound like something illegal, which afaik it isn't any more so than importing a slightly cheaper version of a game from Asia (ie - www.playasia.com ). I do understand the "getting sketeched out" aspect.

FWIW, It is a copy from Russia, after putting the key into Steam it prompts you for which version of the game to install (Borderlands 2 or Borderlands 2 RU).

Edit: I see what you're talking about now (Used Dr. Google), that just completely changed my opinion of Steam.
