Alright, Chrome is working for me....Dead Space 2 is completely sold out and not available for pickup anywhere. UGH! I'll stick with Rayman though.

Edit: Was able to get an order for Rayman...but if I didn't know any better, it looks like DS2 is something I have to go get in store. Perhaps I just got lucky with Rayman for in-store pickup.

My store had pretty much everything except Dead Rising 2 : For the Record. They had two copies of the Playstation LE version of Dead Space 2 that was just the initial pressing -- unfortunately, I already have the PC version of the game and bought Extraction of PSN, but for those who don't own both, that's a hell of a deal.

I ended up getting Eye Pet & Friends, Bodycount, GH Warriors of Rock and Tekken Hybrid for $35 + tax. Not terrible, but could have been a better haul if I didn't own it a lot of it already (mostly on Steam and Origin).
NOTHING was marked with the sale prices, so if you don't follow the list closely, you'd never know. Bright side : There's a good chance whatever you might want is still in stock at your local Best Buy despite what the website might claim.

I was going to pick up the Legendary Skylanders pack (on sale for $19.99), but they didn't have any left. Instead I used it to pick up the Kinectimals w/FAO Schwarz Bear that's on sale/clearance for $14.99. The clerk double checked the coupon he said they usually aren't valid on video games, but said it was okay and it scanned fine.

Picked up Rayman Origins for the 360. I didn't see anything else I really needed, although I would have grabbed Dead Rising 2 OtR if it were available for the 360. Skylander 3 packs are on sale for $14.99 too, but they didn't have any I needed (my daughter was looking for Dino Rang)

I grabbed Rayman, too, along with Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2, all for $10 each. And Bulletstorm: Epic Edition for $5. Would have grabbed DR2:OTR as well, if they had it.

I got Singularity and Dead Space 2, both PS3, this morning @ 330am. Rayman and DR2 were sold out everywhere.. I don't think many stores had any stock for DR2.

Rayman Orgins was all I wanted from this blowout but it was long gone when I arrived at Best Buy this morning. Reading through the cheapassgamer forum it looks like everyone pre bought as soon as they knew the sale and did some price matching today. I knew they were doing that, making my chances of getting a game slim, but I guess that's fine if that's how these things are done.

Anyway, there is already another post up about another BB blowout that will happen next week. Some decent games that will sell out long before the actual sale!

Good luck on getting Dead Space 2 for 360 if you go to Best Buy. I'm glad I reserved Rayman Origins for in-store pickup because they were cleaned out of it too. Lordie, the store I went to had a clearance display, so it was already bad news when I walked in the door. A couple other guys were looking for various items too. To be honest, at least with Rayman Origins, there was a marker for it. DS2, not a blooming thing like it hadn't been there in months.

Yeah, sadly a lot of the games on the list were out of stock at my local store before the list was ever released online. The only game I really wanted was DR2: OTR for the 360 which hasn't been in stock at my store for awhile now.

I got word of this last night, and Dead Space 2 and Rayman Origins (the only 2 titles I was interested it) already showed out of stock at all the stores near me. But since I know they show out of stock online when there is less than 3 titles in store, I decided to stop into a Best Buy on my lunch break anyway, and I found a single copy of Dead Space 2 on the shelf. Score!

After passing on Deux Ex HR for $9.99 during the last gaming blowout (since I already have it on Steam), I went and bought it at Target today since it was clearanced out at $5.98.

Also picked up a pair of Sony Playstation Universal 3D Glasses for the affordable yet odd price of $25.16 in-store. It was listed as an "Online Item" and they tend to be real cheap, whatever "online item" actually means. I hope they really are universal and will work with my Sharp 3D display (though of course I can just return them if they don't).

They had a similar deal on Witcher 2 for 360 when it was released. I think it was the same price, in fact. It took them a while to fulfill it and get it to me, as is to be expected from Deepdiscount, but they did honor the price as ordered even after they had corrected it on their site.

Wow, great deal! Thanks. I've had frustration with DD before, but they do come through eventually. At that price, I can wait a bit. There's also a 10% coupon you can get for sharing, but I think you have to complete an order first. If it wasn't so hard to cancel an order, I'd use a coupon and re-place the order with it, but at DD cancelling an order is near-impossible and not worth the hassle for an extra $3.60.
