Joe Danger Touch is out now for iOS for $2.99. Pretty fun game.

All of the Playdek card games and their expansions are on sale for $.99. The newest is the Penny Arcade game. It's another great deckbuilder with a quirky personality. If you like these type of games now is the time to pick some up.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

A fun little puzzler called Gesundheit went free today, SD and HD versions. I almost didn't download it, as I have so many puzzlers, but very glad I did. A real gem so far.

I've been fairly addicted to Dungelot, which has been on sale for a buck. Basically a simple rogue like, with four different classes. Also getting updated with a fifth class soon.

I second Dungelot. I heard about it on CAG first and picked it up for $.99.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I just compiled all my EA Daily Deals codes and interestingly they sent me some of the same codes twice, I guess 'cause they were tied to my e-mail. So I didn't end up with the extras I thought I did, but here's an extra Mirror's Edge:

Also, I picked up a couple extra codes for the free Gravity Falls episode:

Just post here if you use them, or if I mistyped the codes.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Both the Gravity Falls codes have been used. Sadly if I had realized it was just for the premiere episode, I wouldn't have bothered. I was hoping they were doing the next, as-of-yet-unaired episode. We love that show in my house and I feel terrible for taking it away from someone! Though not as terrible as the asshat who took a code without thanking you for it.

Oh, and thanks!

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I guess I should have read the offer card to see what exactly it was. I just knew it was something free.

Oops, that was me, I typed up a reply on the other computer, it's probably still sitting there waiting for me to hit the post reply button, sorry about that.

Thanks davidh777

If you have any interest in MAME then check out Gridlee and the thread about it on touch arcade while you still can.

It's now free.

Best news in this thread, ever. Download this to all of your devices and back it up on your PC ASAP. I bet it's pulled from the appstore tomorrow.

I don't 'think' Apple deletes apps that make it to your PC, but I could be wrong on that.

In any case you can save off select apps by copying them. Right click on the app and it will tell you where it is located:

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Ok, from the phrasing I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something beyond saving that ipa file that is copied to the PC when the device is synced.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I was excited about this MAME emulator, but apparently it requires specific versions of the ROMs, 0.139u1 set. My MAME collection on my PC is a few years old and doesn't work when loaded into the Rom directory of this app. I don't know if I have the energy to compile the Roms I want again.

Took me 30 seconds of googling to find tons of classic games. I just wish there was a place for all ROMs, like a NATION of them, or an ORGanization of them.

So sweet playing Donkey Kong and Galaga on my iPad.

A cool looking and highly reviewed freebie today is a puzzle adventure called Tiny Bang Story (HD and non).

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Trying to figure out how to drop the ROMs in Gridlee.

Also have a couple of Fibble HD codes if anybody wants them.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

You have to do it through your PC or Mac with one of several file explorer programs like ifunbox or iexplorer.

And Fibble looks interesting, I'd take one please.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

If you still have another code after getting one to Trevor I'd like one as well chess for Fibble. It does look like fun.
