i'm on the level now with the circular map; demons show up on the left and armor guys on the right' every once and a while an earth elemental pops up in the middle.

Ok, so I bit the bullet and bought Where's My Perry?
I like it ... seems different enough from Where's My Water? to me. They replaced the acid/sludge mechanic with heat/cold lasers, seems to lead to whole new kinds of puzzles.

A popular flash game, Hanger, was just converted to iOS. On sale for 99 cents as a launch special.
I usually wait at least a couple months for the probable free special, but in this case I bit.
I'd include a link, but am on my phone. It's sort of a ragdoll physics vine swinging game, and very addictive.

I'm so excited for Tiny Wings 2.0 tonight...and it's a free update instead of another paid game!

Here we go, the moment many of us have been waiting for. Tiny Wings 2 has hit the New Zealand App Store and will make its way through the different time zones, ultimately landing in the US App Store tonight at 11pm EST. But wait, what's this? This isn't a new game at all, but rather an update to the original Tiny Wings [ $0.99 ]. Neat!
Yes, that's right. Tiny Wings 2 is actually Tiny Wings 2.0. It's a free update to the existing game as well as a brand new, separate iPad specific version, something we've been waiting for ever since the original release. When talking to Andreas Illiger about this decision, he had this to say regarding updating the original game as opposed to releasing a brand new app:
Tiny Wings 2.0 retains the same mode from the original while also adding a new one called Flight School, which sees you controlling one of 4 different birds as you race against 3 AI opponents towards the finish line across 15 brand new levels. In addition, the iPad version comes with a same-device multiplayer mode which gives 2 players one half of the screen each to compete against each other. Both versions also (finally!) support Retina Displays.
Here's some video of the new Tiny Wings HD on the iPad along with some commentary from yours truly and Mr. Brad Nicholson:

If you are one of the millions who already own Tiny Wings, keep your eye on the App Store for an update which should hit at some point today that adds the 2.0 features. If you're an iPad owner, the new HD version will be making its way to every time zone including the US at 11pm EST tonight, and the NZ link can be found below. And if you're fretting on having a separate version for your iPad don't worry, iCloud save game syncing is one of the new features as well so you can always keep things straight between devices.
Also, don't forget to revisit the Tiny Wings topic and new iPad version topic in our forums and discuss this massive new update with the rest of the community.

I [never] clarified if it will be an update or an seperate app before the release because then my fans will be happy on the release day when they see that the sequel isn't a seperate app and they will get it for free. I worked on the 2.0 version for the last 12 months and everyone told me I should make a seperate app out of it and sell it again (because it is almost a new game and I would earn a lot more money). It was a heavy decision for me to give away this new version for free but it feels right (most people I talked about this subject don't understand it
.
So I decided to give it away for free as a big "thank you" to all my fans for changing my life. That's really important for me and the reason why I make this little stupid marketing trick of confusing my fans before the release.

... or at least part of them. I could only add three residential floors and one of each business type.

I'd love a code for Draw Something if someone's got it. They didn't have any at my SB, but when I'm out today, I'll check to see if I can grab some for others.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
I started playing Kingdoms of Camelot when I got stuck on Kingdom Rush, and it's replaced Pocket Planes as my main diversion. (Still working on populating my added floors for Tiny Tower but that's slow going.)
KOC is another maintenance game, figuring out how to allocate one's resources among building defenses, building infrastructure, etc. I like the medieval/Arthurian setting and I like building up my stuff but have a lot to learn about attacking other places and such. It's also a little confusing in that when someone attacks me or when I attack something, I haven't figured out how to tell what is actually going on. It says "Your city is being attacked! Go defend it now!" but I don't see anything. It's also annoying that at the stage I've achieved, everything takes like 10 hours to build because I refuse to buy the in-app boosters. This might turn into one of those check-in-twice-a-day games rather than a constant play.

I've been playing 10000000 lately. It's a very well done match three rpg/endless runner hybrid with 8-bit style graphics. Definitely worth the $1.99 price tag in my book provided the combination sounds remotely appealing.

My brother-in-law gave me six
codes for Draw Something, though I think he used one of them. If you want one, post here, and I'll PM one to you to see if it works. If not, I'll send the next code. Please don't PM me asking for one since I'm nearly at capacity.

The game I've been playing the most lately is Songpop, a sort of name that tune game that I'm liking a lot, the only real issue I have with it is not really liking the scoring system. If anyone wants to play on there my username on it is Jason_C11
