Galatrix is their next game and I'm wondering when it will come to iPhone. For that matter where is Peggle and Peggle Nights?

I am already  for Galactrix.

Ok so my offer still stands and I thought I would narrow down a list of games to let you guys choose so here it goes,

Brothers in Arms
Rolando
Touchgrind
Hero of Sparta
Guitar Rock Tour I preface this that I normally hate music games but would sacrifice
Flick Fishing
7 Cities TD

I would be willing to do more then one game but I am only gonna do one at a time. Also am open to suggestions.

Hero of Sparta looks fun but I'm not sure about it.

I'm very impressed with Real Soccer 2009 so far...

I was a little intrigued by hero of Sparta the screenshots look cool. Anyone else?

I've spent about 10 hours so far on Puzzle Quest. LOVE IT. It's the hardest of all ports.

Two interesting apps:

Have2P - finds all nearby bathrooms

JobCompass - finds job openings around you. This is actually a cool app!

Did they fix the spelling and grammar errors in the text in Puzzle Quest from the DS version? That was one of the things that really disappointed me about the game originally.

GatorDeb 01-19-09 04:34 PM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Haven't found any so far. Then again I didn't notice any in the DS version, and I finished it twice.

And I'm usually anal about spelling and grammar.

I picked up Heroes of Sparta , I will have a review in a few days. Also got Slotz which is very fun but hard, and Burning Tires which is nothing special

Price drops, Rolando to $6 and Tic Tac Poker to $1.

GatorDeb 01-20-09 04:55 AM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

If you want a TOUGH puzzle game, try Blockade ($1). It comes with 189 puzzles. Best way to describe is to look at the pictures :D

I continue to make progress with Puzzle Quest. The game is hella hard. I'm at level 21 and I'm having trouble with DugDog and the 5 Knights (haven't beaten any of them).

Easily over 10 hours so far. And I probably want to do the game over with all four classes.

$5 extra I paid for Rolando and Tic-a-Tac Poker :(

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

So I was spending too much money on the app store so I worked some overtime and got myself a 1G 16 gig Touch in perfect condition from Craigslist for $200.

It was already Jailbroken but I restored it to factory settings, upgraded it to 2.2, downgraded it again to 2.1, jailbroke it 5-6 times, logged into it remotely from my PC, etc, etc, so I've learned a lot about it in the past couple of days, so if anyone has any questions about jailbreaking, feel free to ask me :D

I beat DugDog finally and now have to deal with the 4-5 Orc Lords (which is like beating DugDog again 4-5 more times). I'd say I'm right over the 10-hour mark, so I think the whole thing is going to be about 20 hours (just to go through it with one class... I want to have my Wizard and a Knight at level 50 by the time chapter 2 comes out).

I picked up Rolando and played it a little . I am not as wowed as I had hoped, but I didn't spend much time with it because I am trying to finish Hero of Sparta

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Yeah I'm not that excited by Rolando so far. It seems a little fiddly selecting the different rolandos and trying to do the jumps. Anyway, I'm only on the easy levels so far so not stuck or anything but maybe just not my type of game.

I tried to download an app yesterday, but an error message popped up that I needed to be connected WIFI. I was at work and did not want to bother with it at that time. Now I can't think of the name of the game - it was a compare picture game - what's different. Does anyone know any names of games of this type.

GatorDeb 01-22-09 11:16 PM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

Chris - thanks will look into it :)

I know of several of picture difference types of games. I have to go to work now, I'll let you know tomorrow :)

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I wish I knew how many WH the Touch battery has.

I know I came across more but here's one spot the difference game:
iSpot

I have 19 puzzles to go with Pixelcross (out of 180). Love that game.

I'm at Grulkaar with PuzzleQuest, which by the subtitle, should be the end battle or near the end battle. Still have to maximize my stats. The Ghoulish leader was hard because he kept putting a spell on me that kept me from absorbing Mana and the Orc Lords have a spell that makes you miss three turns. I'm at a hive now and he has an attack that takes 30 points at a time so I'll be at 50 life points and he'll be at 150

I want to buy 4 things:
- the one that gives you 50% chance of an extra turn if a certain something happens (can't remember what off the top of my head).
- the one that bounces damage back to the enemy.
- the one that takes away disease at the start of each turn (would have been helpful with the ghoulish leader)
- and the one that creates a random skull each time your turn starts.

I love this last one from other platforms but forgot the name... anyone remember?

I must be nearing 15 hours. Definitely worth $10. Hard as hell. Caps out at level 25, and then you have to buy the rest of the skill points. I want to get through and maximize my wizard and then do this all over again with a knight, and then maybe the other two classes.

Well they say the iPod Touch battery is 900 mAh. Don't know if 1G or 2G. And the equation is:

(volts x milliamp hours)/ 1000 = watt hours

Does anyone know how many volts the Touches are? Assuming 6 (pulling a number out of the air based on its size), then 10 Wh is

(10 * 1000) / volts = 10000 / 6 = 1666 mAh or just under 2 full recharges. Not as good as I thought it would be. PQ goes dead in about an hour, and with this it wouldn't last 3 hours. That's assuming it's 6 volts.

http://outgoing.ipodtouchfans.com/?d...UtNSNzMjkyNA~~

lists it as 3.7 volts... if that's accurate that's 2702 mAh or about three times... including the Touch Battery that's 4 hours of PQ. I guess I'll keep on waiting for something that holds 10 hours of PQ.

:hscratch:

Where are you getting your formulas from? P = VI, as far as i know you can't mix another unit of hours time into that for only one component...
