Spider and Civilization are absolute steals at a buck. Everyone should own those two.

Anyone have opinions on these two?

* Doom II RPG ($3.99 -> $0.99)
* Myst ($4.99 -> $1.99)


I'm curious about Doom as an RPG. My wife has never played Myst but loves puzzle games and those hidden object games... would she like Myst on the iPod?

While we're soliciting reviews, any thoughts on the Soccer Superstars? Love the Baseball Superstars, just not sure how the soccer would translate on the iphone. Thanks!

I ultimately decided I was debating the 1 and 2 dollar app purchases more than I debate 5$ and 10$ DLC on the Xbox.

I bought Myst, Puzzle Agents, and some hidden object game about the Vatican for a grand total of 4$.

I watched the video of the Doom RPG and it kind of looked lame.

I picked up that Spider game, Puzzle Agent and Chuzzle(popcap game that was on sale for 99 cents as well but not in the list above).

Puzzle Agent is really well done and I am enjoying it.

Are you playing on a non-retina display? The description really emphasis the retina, so I am wondering if it will look bad on my 3G touch.

Looks great as well in my non retina Iphone. Loved this game as well on console. First few levels so far are great. Also grabbed Spider and Peggle, 2 in my old list of games to buy at 99 cents.

Dungeons & Dice is a decent game. I bought it several months back and considered it a reasonable deal for 2$ - free is great.

No that was due to the NFL season starting, the MLB pennant races, and mainly Heroes of Might and Magic, which has been my crack on-and-off for 15 years.

The reviews on the iTunes Store are not very good because of the lack of retina support and the images look pixelated and blurry. Do you have an iPhone 4 and have you noticed that?
