I spent $7 on NFS Shift and don't regret it. It's an awesome racing game, better than the PSP version. EVERYONE should drop a buck on that.

edit : Other 99 cent games include Fifa 10, NBA Live, NFS Undercover, Dragon's Lair and Madden 10!

ipad version of c&c is still 12.99 :(

Does anyone know how well the "iPhone" versions translate to the iPad? The iPad NFS Shift is $12.99!!

I have 8 EA games downloading at the moment. Glad we now have Folders in iOS 4 to make it easier to manage.

Can anyone give an opinion on which NFS game to get? I'd like to get a racing game. Already got Tiger and that is a pretty fun one.

Seriously, they're a buck. Would it kill you to buy both?

I prefer NFS Shift as I think it's more fun and certainly looks better. But they're pretty different games and you'd probably enjoy both.

Won't help you today, but LogMeIn is great for times like this. Log into your home PC, open iTunes and download away then just sync when you get home.

Thanks! That looks pretty sweet. The iphone app would be awesome as well, but not worth $30 imo.

But I think I'll try out the free PC version tonight/tomorrow.

My computer is glitchy right now and only works in safe mode, but it might work.

I bought the iPhone version last year. While cool, I can count the number of times I've used it on one hand. Definitely not worth thirty bones.

The website version on the other hand, gets a decent amount of use from the work PC. Highly recommended.

Looks like the game center didn't make the final cut of the software. I had it on my 3g with the GM beta but it's not on my new 4. I guess it's either scrapped or they're working on making it better.

What differentiates Words with Friends and Scrabble other than the license? I purchased Scrabble when it was on sale a couple of months back, should I consider Words with Friends?

I play this with several friends and the penny arcade comic pretty much nailed how we play. Definitely worth a buck to get the ad free one.

Multiplayer online. Words with Friends blows scrabble out of the water. The games with Words with Friends are stored on their server, so one person plays their word, then the other person gets a notification. They can get to their word whenever they get a chance and it sends a notification back.

From what I hear of Scrabble, you both need to be playing a game at the same time for it to work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That sounds like a pretty good distinction. Sold for $.99. Thanks!
