Stoneloops is awesome. I've just started going back to Azkend to get all the stars. I'm down to the last two tiers and it's kicking my ass.

Grunts is only 99 cents as well. Fun game.
Anyone tried Archon? I'm interested in getting that as well.

CardStar is a free (pay earlier?) app that stores all of your store discount cards. Looks interesting, and wallet lightening.

Cardstar is great in theory but I have yet to get it to work anywhere.

I bought 7Cities, Mecho Wars and Return to Mysterious Island since they were 99 cents.

Picked up Mysterious Island for a buck as well. Liking it so far.

GeoDefense is $.99. I've been waiting for price drop for these and other games. One tip is to use the PandoraBox app, save games you like as favorites, and you basically can monitor when your favorite games drop in price.

^ Pandora's Box gets a daily, or twice daily run for me, and earns a spot on my home page.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good poker game? I'd prefer 5-card draw since it plays faster, but I'd settle for Texas Hold 'em.

Does anyone know of an app that store pictures?videos secretly? Like in a certain program that needs a code to access.

No but have you looked into Zumo Drive? It creates a 1GB folder on your home PC and you can view anything in it from your phone, assuming you leave your home computer on. 1GB is free, anything higher has a monthly fee.

zynga live poker - tons of players there and its interface is very well polished.

Although I'm not sure why people spend real money to play with more fake money. I just downloaded the free edition and played with the fake money they give me.

The strangely titled game Westbang is pretty fun. Free lite version with the full version on sale for 99 cents. Sort of a western-themed duck hunt-ish game, better examples than that but I'm drawing a blank right now.

I downloaded and installed CardStar on my way into CVS last night. It worked on both the UScan station and at the counter. I tried this morning at Ralphs UScan and I had to really get the iPhone in there but eventually it scanned.

Set up my Zumo account, but so far, can't get anything to stream. It just continously gives a "loading" message. I'll try again after my next reboots.

I think all the cards I carry (or not) can be looked up by phone number, so I've decided that is easier than running the app and trying to get it to work.

I downloaded I Dig It! earlier. Seems like a decent game for $.99.

That's odd, I've never had a single issue with it. I tried MP3s but only use it for photos. Saves space on the iPhone.

I did buy Simplify Music 2 which was mentioned above(I think). Awesome program. Anyone down for sharing some music libraries?

Supermallet 07-17-09 01:54 AM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I was the one who mentioned Simplify. I didn't realize there was a new program. I might have to pick that up.

Trevor 07-17-09 07:50 AM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I'm still using the free version of Simplify (no longer available?) and it works great. My entire library is available to me anywhere I go as long as I leave my computer on.

So the pay version allows you to share with friends? Interesting.

Michael Corvin 07-17-09 07:57 AM

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

The new version of Simplify Music adds a search bar and sharing libraries with up to 30 friends.

I don't think SM1 is free anymore so I ponied up for SM2 which was a few dollars more. $6 total.

Just a heads up that Zenonia (Action RPG) is 50% off at $2.99 and if you are into Tower Defense type of games, Defender Chronicles is on sale for 99 cents.

Touch Arcade has indicated that the Streets of Rage game that just been released by Sega is virtually unplayable because of the low frame rates issue/bug similar to their Sonic and Golden Axe games.

Unless they fixed their issues in an update, I'll stay away from this release. That's too bad since I liked playing this game on the Genesis.
