I have a 16GB Touch and unless you put tons of movies and TV episodes, you won't regret your choice at all.

These are my favorite games:
- Fieldrunners
- Bejeweled 2
- Rolando
- Peggle
- Underworlds
- Scrabble
- SimCity
- The Treasures of Montezuma

Of course some of these games are not 99 cents.

It will be used mainly for music, podcasts and games/apps. Don't really plan to keep movies/shows on there other than to see what they look like.

Sky Burger is a lot of fun.

I'm also getting a lot of use out of the free Shakespeare app, which has pretty much everything W.S. ever wrote.

Amazon Kindle app is free, lets you read the Kindle books Amazon offers. You just can't read newspapers or magazines. Right now, there are some great books available for free to.

If you use Twitter, there are some great apps for that. I just moved to Twitterfon which works a lot better for me then TweetDeck and Twitterific.

There are also Facebook apps and the Skype app.

As for games...

Wolfenstein 3D Classic is a great port of the PC game (especially after the update)

Crystal Defenders is also a great strategy game and the free Lite version gives you 20 levels to play unlike other Lite trials that stop after one level.

Don't bother with Crystal Defenders. The lite version is fun, but for the price they charge for the full version, you can own 4-8 better tower defense games.

16 gigs is more than enough for me. Remember that you can always move stuff back and forth from your computer.

On my 16 gig I keep:

the maximum number of apps
500 or so photos
3 full movies
hundreds of songs

And I still have 10 gigs left.

Toki Tori has dropped to 99 cents. I don't have the game but it has been well reviewed.

If you're often in wifi capable areas, purchase Simplify, which allows you to stream music from your home computer to your iPod touch. I use it on my iPhone 3GS (16GB) and it's saved me a ton of space.

Reading the reviews at Touch Arcade, I purchased Tapstar and Tatomic.

Tapstar is a Sony Music licensed game and for a short time is only 99 cents.

Tatomic is a puzzle game similar to Tetris and is currently free.

Sega's Columns is free today. I wasn't too impressed, but free is free.

Note to those who already have this game! The most recent update wipes your current position in the game. I had to start from the beginning. :(

So I ended up purchasing all of these, except for Topple 2 since they added Topple back and it's free. 11 games for $10.89 :lol:.
