And I pre-ordered the CE from Gamestop. I haven't purchased a Collector's Edition of any game since Bioshock, but damn that is worth it. A great mix of in-game and physical extras.

Kinda bummed about the news, but since I just got my PS3 and LBP, it's cool, just getting into the game and it's awesome. Sucks that it's not 1080, but it's cool.

I was looking through the community levels, some cool ones, but is there a list online of really well done LBP levels that you guys can recommend?

I'll admit I had my doubts about how the sequel would be at making new "games" instead of just new levels. I don't have doubts any more. This is absolutely AMAZING.

This demo will let EVERYONE out there get a taste of LittleBigPlanet 2’s new Story Mode levels, and some of the new gameplay types that LBP 2 will give you the power to create for yourself. Ok so if you don't already own LBP, where's the best place/price to expect to get it from? I'm ok with used but I see people talking about different versions of LBP so which is the one I should look for?

There is a Game of the Year edition with extra user-created levels and content packs such as the Metal Gear Solid stuff. That's the one you'll want.

I don't know where the best place would be to buy it. Amazon has it for about $27.50 but the MSRP is only about $30.

I got an email with a code for the LBP2 beta the other day. Went to redeem it, and it said it was already redeemed or expired. Thanks, PSN.

Same here... also ran into the same problem with an Uncharted 3 theme email that I just received.

I wonder if they're sending out generic codes and once a certain amount of codes are redeemed, they invalidate it. If that's the case, they really should specify that in the email, because at the moment I felt like I'm rather annoyed that they sent me an invalid code.

If you got a beta invite with an invalid/placeholder code, check the TXT version of the email, it should have the right code (that's what happened to me).

Here's what I see when I use the "show original" option in gmail:

The code in the HTML version of my email was clearly a "placeholder" code.
