My 360 is a JASPER!!!!! It matches the info from Engadget. I have a manufacturer's date of 11/1/08 and the lot number is 0844X. Mine is an Arcade bundle. If you want a Jasper unit, it appears the Arcade is the best chance to get one.

12.1 amps equals a Jasper unit (65nm CPU, 65nm GPU).

OK, this is really pissing me off My XBOX has been near my house since Friday!!! I missed it Fri because I was at work, so I got it sent to my work...... Well, no package yesterday, called UPS around 3:30pm. UPS told me that the driver could not find my work.. turns out, the school that I work at is undergoing renovation, and has switched the address to the side street.....which is on the same intersection as the original!!!! Sooooo I call UPS again! Tell them about the address change. I am told that If the driver still can not find the school, they will redeliver next day. I'm ok with that, but TODAY, I call @ 8am just to verify..and am told that since the address was wrong, they are holding the package!!! The driver never got the message the 3 previous calls that I made to document apparently dissapeared? Next, I get a personal call from the call center. I am told to verify the new address, so that I may get it tomorrow! They were still using the old address!! I had to repeat the NEW address 3x before he got it!!! Well the saga continues...

the only thing that would make that better is if you could get it to play the song Under the Sea.

Hey, lordwow, I was wondering about the 360voice group. Is everyone on there a member here? Do you care if people join the group just to join? I was just curious as I don't recognize some of the tags over there, let alone their countries.

Not that it matters...

What enhancements does the Jasper have?

Also I decided I'm going to lie to them and say I have RROD, see what happens.

The characteristic circular scratches can occur whenever the orientation of the console -- which is designed to be used in either a horizontal or vertical position -- is changed while the drive is spinning. Johnson filed his suit after his console scratched three store-bought game discs, and is seeking $50,000 in punitive damages.
What kind of dumb-ass person moves their console while a disc is in it and spinning?

If that is the only way that the console scratches the discs, I'd laugh his case out of court if I was that judge.

Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, basically whatever was released in the last month. Check the threads for those games.

Some people here definitely still play CoD4. Rock Band 2 is another popular one.

That is not the only way it damages. The first time i replaced my console it was putting those circular marks on discs. It screwed up a copy of Viva Piņata and a copy of Gears. My 360 was horizontal and was unmoved. The CSR was a little obnoxious with their questions (Am i sure it wasn't being moved from vertical to horizontal? Am i jumping or thumping the floor to cause vibrations? ) but since i had the extended warranty they replaced it.

I absolutely believe there is some kind of problem with some of the disc drives that cause that problem.

What he said. You could also check 360voice and look at the blogs for gamertags on here and see what games are popular.

Some folks prefer the board/arcade games, some the music games, and others FPSs. I mostly play Halo, Gears, Rock Band 2, CoD4, and L4D. I could be enticed to play some of the Arcade titles like Castle Crashers, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Lost Cities, and even Uno.

spainlinx0, Left 4 Dead is great and Gears of War 2's "Horde" multiplayer is also fun.
