I'm really enjoying this one.
Heads-up that this weekend (and next, I think) it's double XP all weekend (Fri-Sun), and you can stack the 25% cartel coin XP boost on top of that--making for SUPER quick leveling of some of your characters. They started last week and the boosting made it so I could actually skip a whole planet. (I have two 50s already.)
Also, in a few weeks, they're releasing an expansion that takes characters to 55.
I believe this game has gotten better with time. It's good to try with the free-to-play option, but I've found being a subscriber is what makes it rock. That takes away a LOT of restrictions and gives you benefits (such as allowing you to purchase the ability with your free cartel coins that gives you a 110% speeder at level 10--and that makes the monotony of early planets minimal).
