Question about Nintendo DS Wi-Fi
I know I'm incredibly late to the game with this, but I just got my wireless home network set up over the weekend (and also got my PS3 connected online as well) and the next thing I'm thinking of is playing some DS games online.
According to what I read on wikipedia, the DS is compatible with WEP encrypted networks. However, when I set up my network I encrypted it using WPA2. So does this mean that unless I change my router settings to encrypt using WEP that my DS will not be able to pick up the wireless signal?
I was also wondering about how the DS functions when the wireless router has MAC address filtering enabled. I had this problem when connecting my PS3 online and had to add my PS3's MAC ID to the allow list on the router. Is the DS able to connect when the router has MAC address filtering enabled?
Thanks in advance!
