I have no idea whether to get a PS3 or 360...

I have a 20gb, 75 DLC songs, 55 RB1 songs, numerous XBLA titles and a few large-ish game expansions and I still have like 9gb free.
For $20, I would recommend going with the 20gb. If you find that you fill it up, it'll be easy to upgrade later. But why spend 5x now for 3x the space when you might not need that much anyway?

Like I said earlier, the people that have actually filled their 20GB(actually 13GB) drives are people that have had the console for 2-3 years already. Either that or they don't manage their data(deleting demos, trailers, etc.). The 20GB will be fine for a long while if you are just now taking the plunge.

I love the PS3. It is definitely the best made console. I had an old 360, but got rid of it just when the RROD issues began popping up. I wouldn't mind getting one again. Is it now SAFE to buy one?

Of the 2 "HD" systems the 360 is a better all around investment from the research I have done so far.
The PS3 may have a longer lifespan with the tech built into it, but for now its too far ahead for its own good. BR is really only for movie and audio buffs. This economic downturn may spell a disaster for the PS3 if they don't lower prices.
The 360 pricepoint and catalog of current and upcoming games, the update to the experience and such really make the 360 shine at the moment.

I have had an Xbox 360 since launch. It replaced an original Xbox. Before that I had a PS1. I have played on a PS3 before but not enough to have any solid opinions. I can say I did not like the PS3 controller at all while playing Resistance Fall of Man; just seemed odd to not have a trigger to fire but it may be due to me being used to a 360 controller.
Anyways, I am getting a 80GB PS3 for Xmas. Pretty much the sole reason is the Blu Ray player. Using the MS Live.com 30% rebate and a 10% off PayPal coupon, it is hard to pass up at $250. if I had to pay $400 I wouldn't have even thought of it.
I still plan on using my 360 for any dual console games. I like the achievements, I like my friends list, etc. Are there any benefits to PSN over Live (other than free vs $50 a year)?

Can anyone explain or point me in the right direction on how a wireless bridge works with your 360? Also, I seen a member in this thread say to turn on your display to 1080i, wouldn't 720p be better or is it even noticable to the naked eye?

Essentially, this is a wireless bridge (ignore all the dd-wrt talk and settings, just the picture is what conveys the message):
But that's not really necessary to understand. The 360 will think it is wired as it is the bridge that connects to the wireless network with all the security settings. You configure the bridge to see and authenticate to the network and you plug the 360 into it via ethernet.

I'm using the MN740 (the old Xbox wireless adapter) as my wireless bridge and it works, but is a little weird. When I start my 360 I have to unplug the bridge and plug it back in. Then I have to go to through the Xbox Live test in the network settings. After that it works until I turn my 360 off. When I restart it I have to go through all of that again.
Anyone have an idea why it doesn't remember my settings? It will seem connected when I turn the 360 back on, but unless I do all of that I can't connect to Live.
