I'm also tempted by Flock at $10. I did find elements of the game frustrating during the demo, but I did have some fun with it.

If you don't want 4000 points, they also have a deal where you get a $5 credit in the Live store when you buy 1600 MS points ($20).

I knew that deal was something I should jump on before I even tried the demo in case they changed it while I waited -- it just felt like a price mistake. Honestly this game is worth 1200 points; it's pretty impressive. Still glad I got in at 800.

Dammit. I just finished playing the demo at lunch and got an error message on the console when I tried to buy. Looks like the site is fixed now as well. I guess I'll get it in six months when it's back to 800.

I just played the demo and remembered that I didn't like this game the first time and don't like it now. It's not a bad game but I just don't like it for some reason . How about a Solomons Key remake.

We don't know if this is some new marketing tactic by Microsoft, but Lode Runner is now 800 ($10) on the Xbox Marketplace, instead of the previously announced 1200 ($15) -- oddly enough, it's still $15 for a code from Amazon. Well, actually, we did poke the sleeping lion to find out about the surprise "discount." Hopefully, doing so won't spur a price hike. If it does -- yeah, totally our bad.

But, in all seriousness, here's what Major Nelson had to say about the seesawing release: "This was incorrectly priced at 800 points. That has since been corrected." But is it correct?
