I ran through the trial tonight and I liked it at first then by the time I built a lumberyard (like 3 minutes later), I was bored.

yeah, upon reflection it seems too boring I wish it was like Settler's more though.

Well I don't know who Kunane954 is but I just passed him and now I'm 2 of 3 in the Leaderboard for friends for Zuma I'm on level 4-5 on the Adventure mode but curiously I'm not ranked on that leaderboard. Best $5 I've spent in a while.

Don't really like that other ball game, this is more fun even if I suck at it.

#2 on my list is eatntae with 500,000.

Wasn't Emergency Hospital supposed to come out today? It's listed as "out now" on IGN, but it's definitely not available.

Well I've been sucked back into Zuma since Deb's been talking about it. I feel like an idiot though. I've spent maybe 50 hours on this game over the years and I just figured out tonight that you could switch your marble. I just thought it was like Tetris showing your next color. I don't feel too bad though since no one's come close to my score.

Picked up Brain Challenge, Assault Heroes, Golf: Tee It Up, Boogie Bunnies, the Rock Band DLC, the GHIII DLC, and the Lips song.

I thought Boogie Bunnies was going to be stupid but I LOVED it. It's the same game as one of the iPod games. The iPod games is jewel boxes instead of bunnies.

HATED Rez. With a passion. Assault Heroes took care of my shooters, and I already owed Catan. Had 10k pts ready to burn -

Boogie Bunnies is the cutest game ever I guess "For Her" was a really appropriate tag.

Aw, come on people, am I the only person that owns Boogie Bunnies?

You know there are demos for every XBLA game, so that you can try before you buy, right? It's your own fault for wasting 500 pts on something you should've known you wouldn't like.

^ no kidding. These days, what with all the demos and early word of mouth, there hasn't been a single video game I've paid money for that I didn't like. Because it's so easy to be well-informed these days, I actually can't remember the last game I bought that I didn't like - but I think it dates back to early PS1 days.

I guess I misread. Sorry.

I see that you did buy the RB All That Remains pack though. I can totally see you hating that.

Well, 90% because my little boy always wants to watch me play the demo and 10% out of pity for you, I purchased it. I don't think it's very good, but at least it's cute and relatively cheap now. Picked up Arkadian Warriors because it was a little fun in the demo. Already have Golf, Rez and Assault Heroes (at 800 poits each, sigh). I like the Golf game to some extent -- the bullet time feature is nice. It's no Hot Shots Golf, though. Never got into Catan; the demo was just too complicated for me.

Got some $16.16 Target 1600 cards. Treated myself to Pac-Man CE and Geometry Wars Evolved 2. Been playing TONS of Zuma.

I love GW because I find it oddly relaxing to move with the left and shoot with the right.

You could have gotten the Arcade disc for $5 at Gamestop. It has Pac-Man CE, Uno, Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket and Feeding Frenzy.

I bought the disc a few months ago and I never play it because it's a hassle to have it in the drive and have to swap it out all the time with the disc-based game I'm playing. I would much rather have it on downloadable form.

Deb, since you're back on your annual spending kick, may I recommend A Kingdom For the Kefflings? It's really cute and a fun time-waster. It's not close to one of the Arcade's best games, but I'd be hard pressed to find a more enjoyable one. It's like a Sim City, but more simple and less goal based. I'm just spending an hour or two a night just building my next building to see what new blueprints it will open up.

I'll try it out next time I log on, thanks!

I AM trying to be very selective on what I buy, though.

Looks like Powerup Forever is going to be coming out this Wednesday. Looks like a fairly awesome two-stick shooter.

http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1220377_1124.html

I'll definitely be checking this out. Might be my first purchase since Castle Crashers.

Apparently Meteos Wars is coming out on Wednesday as well. It was announced for October but didn't show up then. I liked the DS game, but it'll be interesting to see if it plays the same way without a stylus.

Deb, it's a falling block game, so it should be right up your alley.
