Not a very exciting PS Plus weekly update, just Limbo (Vita) as a freebie and some mild discounts on the Lego Movie game.
What's VERY interesting however is this blurb:
So it seems we're losing the free Resogun offering (meaning anyone with any intention of ever getting a PS4 should grab it very soon), but also we're getting a bunch of new games as the semi-permanent PS3 and PS4 IGC selections next week as well! If I were a betting man, I'd expect a free copy of Knack to be among them.
What's VERY interesting however is this blurb:
Last Chance (Leaving on 6/3)
Instant Game Collection
Stick It To the Man
RESOGUN
Pro Evolution Soccer 2014
Little Big Planet Karting
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Single Player Mode

Never occurred to me to get Resogun when I have a PS3 but you're right, I may get a PS4 down the road and I'd like to "download" it with my PS+ account. However, all I get is a "download to PS4" button that's grayed out. No button to simply purchase it for free. Guess it's not for me.

It was on the website interface. Huh. Maybe I already got the game and I forgot about it.
Edit: Yep, there it is. April 30th. Thanks.

I saw on GAF that Poland is getting NBA2K14 for free this month. I could see us getting that too. The timing is good with the Finals starting. That is also probably when sales drop off.

Could be. We've matched Europe so far with out PS4 PS Plus freebies. Still I doubt that would be the year-long, semi-permanent free game since it would be out-of-date in a few months. Maybe that's the June game and Knack might be the long-term one.

PlayStation Plus – 2 Titles Per Month for PS4, PS3, PS Vita
+ Posted by John Koller on May 29, 2014 // VP of Platforms Marketing, SCEA
Next month, PlayStation Plus will reach its 4th year milestone. PS Plus has evolved a lot as a membership since then. We’ve provided our PS Plus members with numerous exclusive discounts, access to betas, demos and even select games early, and of course, free games to play through our Instant Game Collection. As our members have grown with us from our introduction on PS3, PS Vita and now PS4, together we have built a strong community of gamers around the world.
The excitement around PlayStation 4 has been tremendous, and it has been exciting to see how quickly our dedicated community has rallied around the system, adopting and engaging with its features and spreading the word about what makes PS4 the best console available. PlayStation Plus has been an essential part of PlayStation 4, providing access to next-gen online multiplayer and a steady stream of great games including Resogun, Outlast, Don’t Starve and Mercenary Kings. Since we are always looking to continue evolving PS Plus to be a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games introduced each month with PS Plus. As you’ll see below, starting in June, members will have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.
Since we’ve seen how excited many of you are to download Instant Game Collection titles as soon as they’re available, we’ve decided to adjust the length of time each title will be available. Starting in July, every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Tuesday of the month, and will be free for the month, until the first Tuesday of the following month, taking the guesswork out of how long the game will be available for free. In the coming weeks, you’ll see that several of the titles that have had a nice, long stint in the Instant Game Collection will be phased out, so if you’re new to the service and haven’t had a chance to download all of the titles available through PS Plus — or if you’ve been thinking about subscribing but haven’t yet — now is the perfect time to get all the great games available with PS Plus.
Protip: you don’t have to download the game to your hard drive (or memory card) to gain the entitlement — you can also go to the web store, add them to your cart and check out. Once the game says “Purchased” below it when you’re logged in, you’ll be set for the future as long as you’re a PS Plus member.
Members have a lot to look forward to in the coming months, including the Destiny multiplayer beta (for members who have pre-ordered the game), Driveclub PS Plus Edition, Secret Ponchos and more.
Now – Matthew Harper from our Community Team is here to tell you all about June’s lineup! Take it away, Matt:

Okay, now that you’re all up to speed with PlayStation Plus, let’s go over the games you’ll get this month. Buddy up, because your two PS4 games are best when experienced with a friend (or two). Trine 2: Complete Story is a puzzle platformer set in a gorgeous fantasy world, where you’ll switch between heroes (a thief, warrior and mage) to complete your journey. Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate merges the campaigns of Pixlejunk Shooter 1 and 2 and wraps them up in fancier visuals, plus some extra perks like cross-play and cross-save.
On PS3, Plus members get NBA 2K14 — just in time for the NBA finals. The latest in the franchise features a new Path to Greatness starring the reigning NBA champion LeBron James. Sly Cooper and pals are back in Thieves of Time — since it’s a cross-buy title, Plus members will get both the PS3 and Vita versions next month.
Finally, PS Vita owners get Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe. Terraria is a procedurally generated sandbox game where you’ll build crazy structures and fight insane boss monsters, while Mutant Mudds Deluxe is a spin on the traditional 2D platformers of years past – they’ve got the art style and chiptune tracks down, but you can also hop into a third dimension with a nifty jetpack. Jetpacks are cool.

My hopes were up for the PS4 version (which looks pretty amazing). Still, a free game I don't yet own = good news.
BTW : Trine 2 Complete is the first PS4 freebie that wasn't free for PS Plus at the game's release (meaning it was possible that you'd already purchased it for the PS4).

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
My only criticism is that this is the second time they've had a PS4 PS+ game that should arguably have been cross-buy with its PS3 version. I already owned Dead Nation and both PJ Shooters, and it would have been nice if they'd gotten the Flower/Sound Shapes treatment.
The Vita offerings are freaking amazing this month. Mutant Mudds was a great platformer (even on iPhone with touch controls), Terraria looks really interesting, and cross-buy Sly Cooper is full of win.
NBA2K14 is a winner too, but I kind of doubt I'll get to it with all of the other stuff to play.
Wonder if they'll announce a new "year long" title at E3. Everybody says Knack, but given potential DLC revenue streams, Killzone makes more sense to me.

The bolded part of my post above indicated that ALL IGC games would be available for one month only (though that does contradict their previous announcements about DRIVECLUB).
And I was more than a little pissed that my PS3 version of Terreria (bought for $2.50 in a previous sale) didn't include either a Cross Buy or discount on the recently released Vita version. I guess this makes up for it. It's a kind-of cool game. 2D Minecraft clone.

The early leaks for this month's selections didn't include Sly Cooper or Trine 2. With those games, that makes June a pretty damn good month. I got the Plat on Trine 2 for the PS3, but it'll be fun to play through this longer version.
And I almost bought Sly Cooper a couple of times, glad I waited it out.
And I understand the changes they're making, and as a long time Plus member, I'm good with it. If you haven't joined Plus yet, this new change is going to make it less likely you ever will, since the steady 12 game format is going away.
Hopefully this doesn't mean they'll be going back to when they would repeat games on Plus.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I bought Trine at some point when it was on sale, and I really enjoyed it quite a bit, so getting 2 as a PS+ freebie is pretty awesome.
The more I look at the offerings this month, and depending on how many of them you already have, this is one of the more quality months in a long time, even if it doesn't have a huge title (NBA is huge for some, I guess). Trine, Sly, Shooter and Terraria all look really interesting to me, and don't sleep on Mutant Mudds if you have a Vita. Game is awesome.
I'm absolutely loving Limbo on Vita as well. It's a great fit for handheld.
Betting they announce something big for July at E3 on PS4. Retail title.

And yeah, chess, Sly is a great game that I really enjoyed at its launch. It looks nice and plays surprisingly well, even on the Vita. Having Cross Save is nice. I need to go see if I can get anything for the disc version at Best Buy while the 50% bonus is still active.

I still think Killzone, and only the multiplayer (because they can sell DLC), but I'd be good either way since I traded Killzone in.

Killzone is still selling too well to give away. And they already gave away Knack in Japan, so there's precedent for making that a freebie.

PlayStation Plus: Trine 2, PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate, NBA 2K14 Free for Members
A rogue, a wizard and a knight are the best of friends (well, they work together at least) in Trine 2: Complete Story. You’ll either play as all three characters, rotating between them as you need their unique abilities, or you can grab a couple friends to take control of the two other heroes. Of course, you might all be too busy drooling at the art to solve any puzzles, but that’s okay.
In case you missed it in the PS Plus June Preview, you’ll be happy to see that there’s another PS4 game free this month. PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is a combination of the well-loved twin-stick shooter games (PixelJunk Shooter and PixelJunk Shooter 2) that released on PS3. Not only is the Ultimate version cross-buy, which means Plus members will also get the Vita version, but it includes cross-save and cross-play functionality.
Last, but not least, we’ve got NBA 2K14 on PlayStation 3 for you — just in time for the NBA Finals. LeBron James stars in the new Path to Greatness Mode, where you can suit up as the reigning NBA champion and develop your own future for him.
You can download Trine 2: Complete Story, PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate and NBA 2K14 after PlayStation Store updates tomorrow, June 3rd.

Bear with, just trying to keep up...so the Vita gets 4 games this month (Terraria, Mutant Mudds, Sly and PJ Shooter).
Wow. That's a pretty good haul.
