Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I'll give RE a download. I liked those games on Wii.
I have an Eye around here somewhere, so I think I'm only a Move controller away from playing it. They have to be dirt cheap used, and they are PS4 compatible. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
If you go used, it looks like you can get a move set for $20 before shipping on Amazon.
The PS Eye works on the PS4? I thought you had to get that new camera? |

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
When will Rayman Origins be available for the Vita? I keep checking the free PS+ games and I'm not seeing it.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Either the 17th or 24th. It was in the September preview, but that's the whole month and things roll out weekly.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Aliens: Colonial Marines should be a free game through PS+. That turd isn't even worth the discounted price at $8.99.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Yeah, I mentioned above that it's at least $8 too expensive still.
I doubt it would be a PS Plus freebie because of all the shit they'd take in the message boards and blog post comments sections if they gave away a turd like that. They've never really given away a truly panned full game title in their IGC. I think it would make them look bad. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
*Waits for MS to give it away for free*

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Sleeping Dogs for $10...hmmm.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
It was free a few months ago.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Well nevermind then!
I have too much open-world stuff anyway...just played SR3 last month...playing Infamous 2 right now...will probably get either Watch Dogs or AC4...and Infamous SS is a no-brainer in Feb. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
There's some other open-world game about to come out here this week for the PS3. Forget the name, but hear it's generating a little bit of positive buzz...
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
So I've been playing Thomas Was Alone for shits and giggles, I recommend it highly, it's a great game to just zone out to.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/BGtMvDev6Lc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> It's weird kind of feeling bad for a block. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I played an hour of Journey last night, while I waited for GTA V to become available to download.
Probably not the best game if you are anxious to start killing hookers. ;) (That should be a quote in one of the special editions) Anyway, I loved Flower, for me one of the best games of the current generation, but after reading some reviews here my expectations weren't that high for Journey. And indeed, you guys were right, all the critics that give this game the Game of the Year award are totally wrong. It's not a bad game of course, the more you play it, the more immerse you are, the more you like it. Insert here an essay about how some people are eager to call videogames art and fall for this kind of games. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Journey pissed me off, the art direction and atmosphere is phenomenal, only for the game to be completely uninteresting.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Journey was awesome and beautiful, but it was not the game of the year IMO, and it also wasn't nearly as good as Flower. Flower was amazing.
In most years, I would try to make a case for Flower for game of the year, but 2009 was a ridiculous year with Uncharted 2 taking most awards and competing with Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3, Demon's Souls, Borderlands, etc. |
