What? Journey is one of the coolest game I ever played! It's so freaking unique, it's pure awesomeness. Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite game of all time too. Actually, I have a lot of favorite games... I don't think I ever hate a game, hahaha.

I know it was free over the summer, but it's definitely worth $10. Excellent game! GTAIV really bummed me out (and the GTA series was pretty much my favorite on the PS2) but Sleeping Dogs is SO MUCH better in my opinion. The fighting mechanics in the game are top-notch. Really, really enjoyable. And the game/world is not big at all. I platinum'd it in under a week. It's really not a huge time-waster open world game like GTA or RDR. The collectibles, errands, races, etc are still all there, but there are WAY LESS of them. It doesn't feel like a grind at all.

19K, hahaha, I killed bunch of 18K guys :-P Totally agree on the fighting mechanic aspect of Sleeping Dog. I didn't platinum it in a week, it took me a lot longer, lol. I didn't know Endura (motorcycle race) is part of the add-on. I won that race, it was totally insane and it wasn't required for the platinum trophy (doh!). All of the missions in SD are finite, including stealing cars for Roland.

I highly recommend Sleeping Dog, it's a great game. The Cantonese is pretty authentic as well as the whole virtual HK environment. Can't wait for the sequel!

Started Ico for the first time the other night. I had no idea what to expect given my disdain for Shadow of the Colossus. Ico is such a charming little game. It's amazing how complex the game feels despite the large and barren areas.

I'm in the West Idol area, so I'm not sure how much further I have but am nearing the 7 hour mark. Makes me wonder how attainable the 2hr playthrough Trophy is.

Ico is a beautiful game with a great setting, solid characters and fun gameplay. It's one reason I was so disappointed in Shadow when it came out.

Still haven't gotten a chance to play Ico yet (have it on both the PS2 & on the HD collection disc), but SOTC is still one of the best games I've ever played.

I personally found both Ico and SotC to be rather dreary, tedious affairs, lacking in much fun.

Finished Ico earlier. I was loving it until the fake ending. I hate games that seem to be drawing to a close then toss another hour at you. Fun and challenging game though.

 I played the SotC demo for hours. And my daughter too. Yeah, that 5-10 minutes demo in the PS2 era.

I can't wait until I can have time to play Ico.

Great, so now my unopened copies of both Kingdoms of Amalur and Ico/SOTC are redundant. On one hand I feel dumb when that happens (and it has happened quite a bit), but on the other hand, I pay 15 bucks or less for 90% of my games, and can usually sell them as new and at least get my money back (if not make a small profit).

Hotline Miami. So pixely, so violent.

Followed by a surprise PS+ November only launch of the Last Guardian!

Nah, that would be a game I don't already own and apparently PS Plus is prohibited from giving away any of those.

Haha, that would be awesome.

Really wish that game would get announced for any platform at this point. Hell, I'll take a PS2 version if it means a release date.

I bought SotC when it was on sale a few weeks ago. And haven't played it yet, of course. :grumble:

How is it right that The Transformers game is soooooo ridiculously priced?

Possible the Spyro games. I loved the originals and this way I wouldn't have to dig out my discs to play them.

I wondered that too. Checking out the Ultimate Edition Description:

Transformers™: Fall of Cybertron™ transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS. The Multiplayer Havoc Pack gives 5 new characters (WHEELJACK, ULTRA MAGNUS, BLAST OFF, PERCEPTOR and ZETA PRIME) for use in Multiplayer. The DINOBOT Destructor Pack has 4 new characters (SWOOP, GRIMLOCK, SLUG and SNARL) and their associated parts for use in Multiplayer. The Massive Fury Pack offers a host of new characters for Multiplayer (AUTOBOT HOUND, KICKBACK, SHARPSHOT and HARDSHELL). In addition you also get the Generation 2 BRUTICUS colors and 2 unique weapons for use in the single player Campaign (Retro Blaster and Shock Cannon). Lastly, G1 OPTIMUS PRIME is also included for use in both the single player Campaign or Multiplayer.

It seems to come with three DLC packs that each cost $9.99. More hilariously, the base game sells for $59.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs $89.99 or 2 cents more than buying it all ala carte. rotfl
Gotta love those greedy SOBs at Activision!

Funnier still is that the Transformers game on disc can be had for around $20 new.

Why are digital downloads so slow to lower their price, especially DLC?
