Yes, I believe it's usually posted on the Playstation Blog as part of the store update. You can also look at the store on the PS3 and there is an Expiring Soon option under Playstation Plus. You can always "purchase" them if your a plus member, and then cancel out of the download. That way it shows you "purchased" it so you can download it later when you choose (or get a Vita system).

I finally broke down and bought Escape Plan (so it will probably be in the next round of freebies) since I've had my eye on it ever since launch.

Yes. One week's notice in advance. Deus Ex goes away next Tuesday.
I think LBP Karting will stick around for a year as it replaced LBP 2 which had been around since the launch of the IGC collection last E3

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I grabbed Virtue's Last Reward, and Escape Plan as mentioned above. I was fine until I tried to launch the 832 MB Escape Plan, and it wanted to download a 1.43 GB update which promptly informed me that there wasn't enough room on my memory stick.

Hmmm. Maybe I should play some of this stuff so I could delete it.

That's one of my biggest nitpicks with the PS Store. I have to download an update for games far too often. You'd figure they could find a way to roll the updates into the original downloads, especially considering the size of many of these updates.

Anyone know why Tekken Revolution is free? You don't even need to have + for it. Seems like shenanigans to me.

It's free-to-play with microtransactions, though I don't know any other details.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I think I'm giving up on Gaucamnelee. It's awesome and I'm nearing the end, but I've hit an impossible platforming section. I'll try again in a month or so.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

its probably one of the optional areas for an Orb, those were the hardest parts of the game, both for platforming and fighting.

Right. It was an areas for a mask. The "treetops." I can't figure out how to leave without completing the platforming.

Have you looked for a video to show you the way? There is no shame in that.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

is it the one with the timed alternating/disappearing platforms? that sucked. I think I had the most luck in jumping on every-other platform. So if its platform A (B) C (D). With A&C "on" while B&D are off. I would jump, uppercut off of A and land on C when it came back. I'd save my double-jump for after the uppercut in case I needed more time. That way I new where to aim for while I was still on the platform instead of trying to guess where "B" would be.

That tree top part was a giant pain in the ass. You can definitely get back down if you choose to not do it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I think I have all 64 of those games, with the lone exception of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. I may have missed out on a couple of the Vita titles, but not sure as I don't own a Vita.

The fact I have close to 20 Vita games in my collection makes buying one very tempting. That, and I really hate not having the cross controller trophies in LBP2!

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

How do the free PS+ games work? If I delete a game, can I redownload it for free? Is it tied to my account once I selected to download it the first time?
