I've purchased many things in the past using the same info without issue so I'm not sure what's going on. It wouldn't work with either of the two CC's I tried.

If you're interested in ANYTHING in the PSN store, it's a no-brainer. Even when it's not free, there's usually a discounted price for Plus members. Personally I think it keeps getting better and better. I look forward to the Tuesday store updates.

I'm getting a hell of a lot more value out of Playstation Plus than I do out of Xbox Live since I rarely ever play online games with people. I've basically been paying $35 a year (my average cost for Live) to get access to the Gold member sales.

I agree the $50 is a steal. Several of the minis have been quite fun including the new Space Shooter for 2 bucks, but just getting Sam & Max, Wipeout and Burn Zombie Burn for free were worth it to me. The extra discounts are also very nice and the occasional free DLC for some of the games. I will be happily renewing when the 15 months is up.

Remember, we've only had it for six months so far. I get another 9 months for my initial $50. When I think about it, even I have gotten my money's worth. My problem is that I already owned Wipeout HD, Mushroom Wars, Burn Zombies Burn, and almost every other PSN game they offer. But the discounts, themes and minis given away combined with the discounts on some of the other games and the PSOne Classics for free makes it a pretty good deal even for a mass-spender like myself.

I found my expiration date had expired, months before I started getting the error. I guess the charges still went through for a while, and my card finally started denying the charges. I wish the errors were more descriptive.

I purchased X-Men Arcade. I'm pleasantly surprised to find it very enjoyable, a bit repetitive but brings back fond memories of playing this back in the days.

I'm having problems adding funds via Media Go. My v3 PSP isn't able to connect to my wireless network for some unknown reason (it can find it okay, just won't connect), so I thought I'd use the USB and download some new games via Media Go, but wasn't able to buy them there either. Eventually bought some games (Phantasy Star Portable 2, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and Sega Genesis Collection) via my PS3, then used Media Go to download them to my PSP. A bit of a hassle for me, but I wanted to get in on the Sega sale.

Not having bought either, I'd go for BC2 Vietnam because 1) You can be 100% certain Dead Nation will be on sale for half price within a few months as all PSN exclusive games are, and 2) Vietnam online community is probably really active right now but might be dead in a few months. But having said that, I'm pretty certain Dead Nation is awesome. It's a shame they never put out a trial version.

I ended up picking up Costume Quest, Tumble, and Hoard from this sale. Pretty damn good haul for $20. I'm pretty reluctant to buy PSN games since the advent of PlaystationPlus, but I've been sitting on a pretty fat virtual wallet since exploiting a Kmart deal months ago for $140's worth of half priced cards, so it's about time I got some stuff. I'll post impressions of Hoard later today or tomorrow when I get a chance. Looks like a cool little game.

I picked up Peggle and Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue. Deathspank is amazing, too bad the first one is still 15 or i would get that too.

Meaning you already had it from PS+ but you bought it for ownership? Interesting. I paid full price at launch. Great game.

Please do. Costume Quest as well. I waited to pick it up knowing that you'd end up getting it and posting a review. I enjoyed the demo personally but am not entirely sold on it as a whole game.

I'm having a blast playing Costume Quest, worth the $7.49 I pay. I also purchase Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, still need to finish the first one so I can play it.

I like Hoard. It's a simple action/ strategy game that's actually pretty well-balanced. You can play it offensively or defensively and still end up winning. Lots of risk/reward stuff. It plays for short 10 minute matches and keeps on cycling. I like a game a can play multiplayer for a half hour or so and not have to worry about dropping in or out. While very different sort of game (outside from the kidnapping princess parts), if you liked Fat Princess, you'll probably enjoy this as well, Also since the games are 2-4 players, I doubt it would be hard to find a game online. Not at all pretty, but it gets the job done. If you still only have a small screen though, forget it -- it's sort of hard to see what's going on even on my 45" HDTV.

I just don't get Costume Quest at all. Yes, it's very cute and I suppose it works as kind of an RPG-lite. But the battles are so boring; there's no strategy involved and the combat comes down to a single button push that you don't really have to nail to still do damage. Also the game is so repetitive. Charm goes a long way and this game is loaded with it, but honestly, even considering how cute it is I don't get the love this game keeps getting. It won the Spike VGA award for Best Downloadable Game which I have such a hard time getting my head around -- I think Lara Croft & the GoL is about 50 times better at least, and I think the other two nominees (Monday Night Combat and Scott Pilgrim) were better as well. This is one of my Emperor's New Clothes moments in 2010 gaming (the other revolves around a certain over-hyped grainy, black and white XBLA exclusive with no soundtrack). I have to assume I'm missing something here because so many others dig it, but it doesn't do much for me. Still at $7.50, it's priced reasonably. If you liked the demo, get the game. If you somehow hoped the demo wasn't really representative of the in-game experience, so far for me that isn't the case.

Play the Comet Crash demo if you haven't. It's an interesting take on Tower Defense (adds offense) and seems to be worth $5.

I would also say that Peggle is well worth $5...even if it doesn't seem like it would be your thing.

Working on a review for Tales From Space: A Blob Story. Surprisingly, I'd never heard of it until I was asked to try it.

It's a really unique game, though. I'm having fun playing it. It's a nice change of pace and feels like a side-scrolling Katamari game with puzzle elements. It's beautiful looking too.
