Anybody get Zombie Apacalypse? Is it worth the coin?

I kind of like the demo. :)

So Critter Crunch Comes out on thursday. Game looks crazy fun.

And a new Zen Pinball table has been announced:

Now we just need a Ratchet and Clank table to come out and life will be complete :)

Hell yeah! A NGS2 table will be sweet. Hell, any Zen Pinball DLC table that's not recycled from the 360 sounds good to me. I'll start downloading the update the day before I want to play so it'll be ready in time. -rolleyes-

Don't even joke about that. I have to change my shorts after the passing mention of such a table.

Critter Crunch is pretty good. It's hard to get jazzed for a game you can get for $.99 cents on the iPhone. Obviously I haven't played the PSN version but I recommend the iPhone version. If anything it's worth dropping the buck on for a demo as there isn't much to this game.

The LIVE store never did. There were some good XBLA deals for the first few weeks though -- hopefully they'll do something similar here.

so, how does this work? you buy stuff and it gives you a code that you redeem on your ps3? what's the advantage? that you can use Amazon credit?

How does this work with downloading to multiple PS3? Does it not associate with your PSN ID until you redeem the code?

For XBLA, they've done some B1G1 and other discounts. They'll do something here too.

They can pop up in your gold box as well for a miniscule discount.

I've been wondering how this Amazon psn works as well. Does this mean buying the game from amazon means you wont have to update the console anymore? I really dont wanna take a chance with my system screwing up so i tend to stay away from updating as much as possible.

First Deal : PAIN Sore Spots add-on is $0.99, five dollars less than on PSN. It's two new enviorments and two new game modes.

Just came to post the Sore Spots thing, too. Great find!

They have Warhawk listed for $6... not sure if it's the original (which is looks like it might be) or the new one though :scratch2:

If I buy the Sore Spots expansion am I going to have to update my Firmware to input the code?

You can buy it now, and input the code later after the next FW update.

It's the original. Not the one we play on Tuesday nights.

R&C: Quest for Booty is $9.99 on Amazon right now. That's a price mistake.

Also, word is that Supersonic Acrobatic Cars (title?) will be on sale for $4.99 starting this Thursday and for two weeks time.

Pain: Sore Points, is that add on $1 at the PSN Store too?

http://www.amazon.com/PAIN-Spots-Onl...5440054&sr=1-6

what's the normal price for R&C:QFB, $15?

Michael Corvin 10-13-09 08:30 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Ratchet and Clank is normally $15, but it has been on sale at some point because I only paid $10 for it.

I bit the bullet and updated the firmware. It wouldn't let me access my account to input the code otherwise.

tlwizard 10-13-09 11:24 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

I think Amazon simply switched the prices on two of th Pain add-ons. Ded Baron they have listed at $5.99, when it's supposed to be $0.99, whereas Sore Spots is $0.99 when it's supposed to be $5.99.

I don't know how to explain the R&C price, though.

PAIN deal dead now.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars only $4.99 on PSN for a Limited Time

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2458/...c2a58cf00a.jpg

October marks the one-year anniversary of the release of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (SARPBC), our first self-published title, and we feel like having a party. But what kind of birthday party would this be without gifts, right? We want you to come celebrate with us. So how about a birthday where we give the gifts to YOU! From October 15 through October 29, you can download SARPBC for just $4.99 in celebration of the game’s first successful year! Yup, not one week, but two whole weeks to get in gear and download one of PSN’s most explosive and addictive games for only $4.99!!!

Like our fans, we here at Psyonix absolutely love SARPBC and its die-hard community; they are the best fans an independent developer could ask for, which is exactly why we want to recruit more of you! We know you’re out there, so let’s make the SARPBC community explode! Hop online, get in the Battle-Car arena and show us what you’ve got because if you’ve been waiting for the right time to get this game, there’s no better time than now!

I don't know where these guys are from but in my world I don't have to pay for my own gifts.
