I would wait just a bit. Isn't that nominated for a Game Award? I think they usually have a sale on nominees (not all of them, of course) around this time.

Is it a short game?

BTW : Here's the entire Game Awards Flash Sale.

https://store.playstation.com/en-us/...onship=Add-Ons

Nothing too great that I can see. Some good games, but discounts aren't the best. Most were this price two weeks ago for the Black Friday week sale.

It took me probably 8 or 9 hours to beat.

That's not bad. I might get it now that I've got my Marvel Heroes Omega money back.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Does anyone know much about the Darksiders II game that's up free right now.....like why there's a M-Rating? A certain 10yr wants to give it a try but we looked at some gameplay videos and didn't see or hear anything....the commentators were worse with cussing. I've never played and it didn't look bad at all especially free right now.

If like most Americans you're more concerned with their children hearing cussing than graphic explicit violence you'll be fine.

Actually it was both but since we couldn't find a English speaking video that had to have the commentator saying a few cuss words in every sentence or didn't show much of the game or ones that showed a great deal but didn't speak english...I was trying to get a simple description of what the game is and the so-called "gore & violence" part.

For that matter...one can and could say even games like Plants vs Zombies and even Knack has a degree of violence if they so wish. For what little we saw it was whack & slash cartoonish with yellow blood splatter....we just didn't know if there was more that was worse through-out the game.

...and I'm far from "Most" out there that might, may or could not care....it's drummed into his head constantly that games no matter what they are are just that...games and not reality and imaginative entertainment which he acknowledges....heck, he's not even allowed to watch the nightly and local news and even some action & sci-fi movies.

This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of Death (one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse) on a quest to resurrect the lost souls of humanity and free his brother (War) from an eternal prison. As players traverse through fantastical open-world environments, they use oversized blades to kill demonic/angelic creatures (e.g., dragons, golems, ice skeletons, “corrupted angels”). The melee-style combat is accompanied by screaming/flesh-rending sounds, bone-crunching effects, and exaggerated splashes of blood. Players can also initiate “cinematic kills” that depict additional violence: enemies getting impaled, decapitated, or dismembered (often amid slow-motion effects)—similar imagery can be seen during cutscenes. Some female characters (e.g., harpy-like creatures; a demon) are depicted with large amounts of exposed cleavage.
The reasoning is accurate, from what I remember.

Heck of a sale at the PSN Store this week. Over 400 items on sale

So happy that the Street Fighter V Season 2 Character Pass is FINALLY on sale ($14.99, 50% off). I've been waiting a year, I think.

It looks like a lot of the same stuff that was on sale last week, with a few new ones thrown in. Anything of note anyone has found?

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

When I looked at the list earlier it seemed like a bunch of Square Enix stuff, mostly FFs.

Ok, in for Gundam Vs.

Knack 2 is 20 bucks. Hellblade is on sale again for 21. ME Andromeda for 13.50

They have a flash sale that just started also. I ended up grabbing the Telltale Batman bundle with both games for $15.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Week 3 of the Holiday Sale is up. Looks like they keep the stuff that was already on sale and add new stuff to it.

Finally getting Gravity Rush 2 for $19.99! I've been waiting on that one.
Its servers are sadly shutting down in January , but it won't affect gameplay much.

Considering Pyre for $9.99 but figure that's going to be a PS Plus Freebie sooner or later.

I bought Gravity Rush 1 during a sale a long time ago and still haven't played it. The big game I was waiting for to go on sale Observer finally went on sale so I'm happy.

And Pyre is sooooo goooooddd!

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Jan PS+ games:

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017...-january-2018/

Deus Ex: mankind divided, PS4
Batman: Telltale adventures, PS4
That's You: whatever
Sacred 3, PS3
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, PS3
Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
Uncanny Valley, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)

Also mentions something about a free Warzone starter pack for PS+ players, which may not be new. I was going to try Warframe out, but it is confusing. Isn't this an old, F2P game? I'm looking for a main game to download on the ps store, and all I can find is the demo. Is that what I'm supposed to download?
