I bought and played through both PS4 games last year. Solid two games there

Yea...especially with "Shadow of War" right around the corner, this is must and obvious buy. I've never ever played any of the God of War games...since I was on the 360 before moving to PS4...but they look fun.

there's some great deals on good games. I got Killzone, Knack on sale...along with infamous Second Son at launch while grabbing Resogun...that's one wild game with a heck of a light show.

I got Ratchet and Clank.

It's a very good looking game and really fun, too. Other than that, there's nothing too compelling here.

It just occurred to me : "Don't Die, Mr. Robot" is something you will actually probably say while playing Until Dawn!

So many spoilers in that one line

First time, I think ever, that I've already owned both of the PS4 Plus titles. Admittedly, I don't buy a lot of games.

I thought about picking up Until Dawn just the other day. Glad I waited!

I wish I could go back and play Until Dawn again for the first time. That was a fun, wild ride.

Yeah, I liked it too, but not sure I cared for any of the characters enough to go back and try to save them from death in a second time through.

Is it possible to screw up so badly everyone dies and the game ends prematurely?

Yup, there's a Gold trophy for that

So many damn games on sale.

Submerged isn't remotely a walking simulator. ADR1FT is closer to a walking simulator then any of the games on your list.

I absolutely loved Vanishing of Ethan Carter. One of the few games I have the platinum trophy for.

Looked at the sale on PSN and seriously underwhelmed by it.

Our buddies at Housemarque are at it again! Just a couple of months after they release the stunning and awesome Nex Machina, they are coming back with Matterfall. Looks like their take on Metroidvania gameplay. I'm already sold!

When it comes to no-nonsense arcade twitch gaming, Finnish studio Housemarque is the safest pair of hands in the business. Coming off a sizzling PS4 hot streak which includes Resogun, Alienation and last month’s phenomenal coin-op throwback Nex Machina, it has yet another slice of irresistible bullet hell coming down the pipe.

Matterfall, coming to PS4 on August 15th, is a slick twin-stick side-scroller that transports you to the towering vertical cities of a distant future. You’ll need to suit up and fight for control of the mysterious “smart matter” that is over-running your world and giving rise to hordes of matter-infected enemies. Cue thumb cramps and massive explosions.

To get a closer look at exactly how the studio’s latest offering works, we grabbed Senior Level Designer Jari Hokkanen at E3 last month to take us through a full level playthrough, including a fearsome boss fight. Is it actually Metroidvania style level design? Looks kind of contra-ish, but very interested if that's the case.

Well, the game description on the PSN Store page says :

So it sounds like there is level manipulation there with Metroid like exploration. At least it sounds like that to me.

Gameplay looks fun (if overly cluttered), I just don't like it's art/aesthetic.

Didn't you hear the developer in the video at 4:40?
"We took lots of asthetics from clean Sci-Fi movie."
So I assume it wasn't Barbarella or Species.

And that game's the opposite for me - the art/aesthetics look great - just not crazy about that kind of gameplay.
