Well I picked up Golf, Tetris, Beach Buggy Racing and Riptide 2.

The last 2 mainly for some split screen multiplayer action. Riptide 2 seems really ... empty as a multiplayer game, I guess. Can't expect much for under 2 bucks I suppose. BBR is a little more mario-karty, and might be decent for parties.

I picked up the baseball game, beach buggy, riptide and murdered:ss.

JB : Let me know how Tetris is. I've heard mixed things.

Rich : What do you think of the Baseball game?

I bought Banner Saga, KQ Ep 2 and Hitman Go so far. Eyeing Riptide, Boggle. Maybe Murdered SS as well (but I bet that will be a freebie on one system or the other soon enough, Square loves giving those poor-selling cheap games away).

That Beach Buggy game is surprisingly fun (albeit simplistic) actually.

I really liked Super Mega Baseball when I played it on XBox. It's a fun arcady style game, reminds me of like an old NES/SNES style game.

It said that baseball game was free on the PS4 for me. Maybe it's one of the dozens of games I bought in their $1 Flash sale last year. I certainly never played it.

Seems pretty blah ... I wouldn't bother.

I think I'll go for Tetris because how else am I going to play Teris?

Just finished Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. What an interesting experience. Not so much a game though. EGthR has a great story to tell in a unique fashion but it was severely hampered by the gameplay mechanics. I get the game is meant to be replayed to get all the details of the story but since the protagonist only has two speeds 'fucking slow' and 'really fucking slow,' I'm not going to go back through it, which is kinda disappointing. I get that they don't want the player race through the game but to pace themselves to experience everything from the story to the environment to the soundtrack, but there has to be a middle ground. The trophies also require multiple playthroughs which kinda sucks as well.

That aside, the score was phenomenal and I really dug the unique way the story plays out. I didn't quite piece it all together because it depends on how much you find in the environment. I've been reading up on it though and damn the game is far deeper than an initial glance.

I recommend it, but it definitely requires some patience and your fullest attention.

Here's one track from the score:

I'm going to have to buy the soundtrack. It's probably my favorite game soundtrack since the original Halo all those years ago.

NBA 2K16 and Gone Home this month for PS4.

Neat to see a basketball game on there. Gone Home is a decent little adventure game, albeit a little slow.

I've been wanting to check out Gone Home, so that's good news for me.

NBA 2K16 is a surprise. Wouldn't mind playing it some.

Tried to play a little Gone Home on the PC, but it wasn't for me.

I may have to hook up the PS3 to get that Siren game.

Full lineup:
  • NBA 2K16, PS4
  • Gone Home: Console Edition, PS4
  • Echochrome, PS3
  • Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12), PS3
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus, PS Vita
  • Little Deviants, PS Vita

Little Deviants is a PS Vita launch title that's total garbage -- just showing off how the camera and touch pad works. We are officially at the bottom of the Vita barrel now

Siren looked interesting back whenever it debuted, so I'm definitely interested in that one. Echochrome was interesting, not sure I'll get too far in it though. Not interested in NBA, though I see how that can be a boon for PS4 owners.

I think I played the Sirens demo. Or the first episode? Not sure, whatever it was free. I liked it. So this is a great addition to Plus.

But yeah, with NBA 2K16 and Gone Home Sony wins June.

I can finally put another disk in my PS4 besides NBA 2k? Cool.

I think NBA 2K16 will be the first PS + game for the PS4 that was originally $59.99. I want to play it, but I think the file size is between 40 and 50 GB. That's a multi-day download for me that will likely send me over the cap with my shitty AT and T DSL.

When I was looking for it earlier this year, I could've sworn Tropico 5 was $59.99

Yeah - I was wrong on that one. I just noticed that too when I turned on my PS4.

I believe Injustice was the first one

Seems like a bad month for me. Only 2 ps4 games, and it doesn't look like any of the others are cross play? And basketball? UGH. I wish they'd have a number of games available, and we could pick 2 each month or something like that. I haven't really enjoyed one of these games in a long time.

You can't please everybody, but that's a HUGE game to give away this month and a welcome change from the retro Indie garbage they've been usually giving us.

Well, while I'm grateful for NBA 2k, it is the very end of the season and around the time these go to the bargain bin. But I guess it could be worse, they could be giving away NBA Live/Elite/cancelled/whatever it's called now.
