Must've been a mistake in the translation of that German interview where I grabbed the 55/58 information from. Probably a English to German back to English error of babelfishian proportions!

Still, I would imagine that all master tracks will transfer, at the very least.

I don't know if it was mistranslation or if the interviewer misunderstood or if HMX is just covering their collective asses after the interviewee revealed something he wasn't supposed to, but the post I quoted came from the same thread that spawned that 55/58 figure. I agree with you - hopefully all master tracks from RB1 will make the cut, and hopefully some of the covers besides Tom Sawyer will get replaced by master versions. We're only three weeks out from RB2 () so they have to make an announcement soon. Along with the 6-album announcement, it sounds like the next few weeks will be full of good RB2 news.

Yep, I am just going to have low expectations and wait for the vids. From a doubling standpoint from old GH games, I really wish they would finish GH 1. Way too many great tracks on that we may never see again next gen.

I cannot wait for this game. I am finally closing in on the top vocal spot! I wish in the new game that in practice mode, you have the option to practice a section of a song rather than the entire song. I can usually do perfect on a song but one bar may trip me up!

You will probably overtake me easily (if you haven't already). I hardly ever sing solo anymore (at least until RB2 comes out), and never the on-disc stuff where the scores actually add up. I'm sure my "total" score in RB2 will be amazingly high! I can't wait!!!

I really wish this was implemented too. There are several songs that just trip me up in one part (Next To You's "Ow", the chorus in Electric Version, lots of DLC stuff), and it would be great not to have to go through the whole song to test that part out. Maybe in RB3.

LOL I am still behind you by about 200K and Dethboxx about 700K. I'm only playing vocal for now. Maybe I'll get back into the guitar and drums when RB2 comes out.

Just comparing people on our friend's lists (which you can also set up on rockband.com). I may do something a little more dynamic with the next iteration of this thread though. Sounds like it might be a fun little project. No guarantees though.

Well son of a bitch, my kick pedal (with a steel plate on it) just bought the farm. Towards the end of Young Man Blues on Hard it snapped at the very bottom where the pin is. So the entire pedal fell off of the stand except for the very back with the pin.

I'm going to try some super glue tomorrow, but I bet that doesn't hold it.

Here's something I didn't get a chance to do. I had broken my pedal in the same spot. I used the steel plate with the plastic hinge, but then the hinge broke. Get a sturdy piece of shoe leather. If you take the plasic off the pin you can use it to anchor the leather.
