ha ha 360 owners are nazis!!!!!!

I preordered in GameStop and got an access code to download the demo this Thursday. The demo will be exclusive for the people that preordered from GameStop, here in the USA.

But, the demo will be released in Europe too. So you can easily create an european account and get access to the demo too. I've never cared to create an account from another country, Japan, Europe, HK, etc. to get early access to a demo, but I've read is pretty simple and most of the time they don't check your address.

So there. That's the two options to get access to the Killzone 2 demo this Thursday. Then we can all talk about how disappointed we are...

Not sure I would put much stock in Amazon's top 10 as a guage to its popularity.

I think it will do well, but MGS4 was supposed to be Sony's big gun, so we'll see. I have it preordered, but will likely cancel and wait to get it used. Still haven't opened Fallout 3 (along with many others) yet, plus MLB09 will be out the following week.

Does Gamestop have any issues with canceling pre-orders?

If you don't like the demo you can transfer your payment to another game. I did a down payment of $5 to get the access code.
I guess is a YMMV to get a refund.

Pretty dumb that you have to pre-order to get the demo -- isn't the purpose of the demo to sell you on the game?

You don't. The demo will be available for anyone and everyone who wants it. You can just get it earlier by pre-ordering.

Feel free to wait until it goes public and then decide if you want to buy the game.

Just put $5 down at Gamestop. The manager said I could get the $5 back if I cancel my pre-order. If she was lying and I can only get store credit, oh well.

The demo is out in the UK store. People in the USA have been able to download it too, creating an UK account of course.

It seems the demo is kinda short. Heavenly Sword kind of short. But still good.

I'll download it this afternoon, from the US store, I hope.

So... any thoughts? (about the demo)

I played a little bit. Graphics look really great like everyone said. It was a dark environment, not dark like Gears of War, different, more like Condemned, not a huge fan of that, but that's OK. I also wasn't a big fan of the controls but I've heard that the first one was worst in that aspect. Maybe is the PS3 controller and that I'm so used the Xbox 360 controller.
The ambient and game play feels more like a Call of duty game than a Halo or Gears of Wars game, at least in the demo.
I've never played the first one.
So, I think I'll buy the game when it's released and play campaign and MP and then I'll give my final word. I mean, this is supposed to be the best FPS ever in a console...
