Passed this yesterday.... was not that impressed with it.

Just played an hour of this and I'm hooked. Worthwhile purchase for me. I really dig the retro WWII flourishes in the designs of the guns and uniforms.

Dunno if I'll get the DLC bundle however. Any opinions about the content it adds?

I just started this, as well. So far, I enjoy the game. I had to adjust the brightness level of my tv, though, as the brightness adjustment in the options wasn't enough.

I caved on the DLC bundle as it was too good a price to pass up (just $7.99 for all three DLC packs).

Although really dark and contrasty (is that even a word?), I've been able to play with the default brightness and not have it be a problem. I also feel the darkness really suits the mood of the game.

This video really makes me wish the first Killzone will get a redone PS3 release a'la God of War Collection. It'd be a great lead-in for Killzone 3.

I've been pacing myself with this game (playing only one mission each day) and I already have only two missions left.

I know I'm gonna play the single player campaign again real soon (probably the moment I finish this playthrough) but I don't want it to be over just yet.

Epic isn't the word for it. It's more, uhm, oh yeah: Tedious as hell.

Yeah. It's all the multiplayer maps and extra weapons.

How so? Because it's been pretty intense so far that I'd hate for the final level to be a total letdown.

I just saw so I've only one level left.

So I finally finished this game today. I had a total blast during the final push into the capital and on my way to confront Visari.

Then I had to face Radec...

That said, the ending was absolutely fantastic (even if the narrative leading up to it was nowhere near as strong). I certainly hope they up the ante in the sequel.

How many FPS do you play? I don't play many just the best single player ones. I'm trying to decide if I want this or not.

Trust me, you want this one! Not really a big fan of FPS but, this one, for my money was really well done.

I didn't think it was fantastic but it is a fun run 'n gunner.

Worth the $17 I paid for it a while back (love you, Gamefly sales), but I dunno that it ranks in my top tier of FPS experiences.

RocShemp - what difficulty were you on? I played through the game with a buddy of mine on whatever the next to highest difficulty was ... I wanted to throw the controlled through the TV numerous times at the last battle (flew through the rest of the game), it was a serious frustration fest and took HOURS for us to finish that damn boss level haha.

I played at whatever is the default difficulty. It's my first playthrough and, though I refuse to play games on Easy, I leave the harder difficulties for later. But that boss battle makes me reluctant to do so . Everything else was challenging but fun. Radec was pure rage-ohol!

I wasn't aware there was co-op for the story campaign. The review here made it seem that feature was not available.

Radec didn't seem that difficult to me, though he was a challenge. The last level of Far Cry on the other hand...geez, took me months to finally finish that game.

Though I understand the complaints, I really liked Killzone 2 and wouldn't mind going through it a second time (if I didn't have such a huge back-log of games). And while I'm not a huge fan of multi-player in general, I much prefer KZ2's multi-player game over CoD/ModernWarfare's multi-player game.

Radec himself was a wuss. His cloaking and what I can only describe as teleportation abilities were his only special moves. It's the seemingly endless waves of soldiers he sent after you that really got on my nerves.

The only annoyance fighting Radec himself was that Rico suddenly needed medical assistance while Radec was fighting me. It irked me since I saw Rico standing around and just drop to the ground with not a single bullet headed his way.

I tried MP but there weren't that many people online and those that were only wanted to play on the same boring map. So I've been playing with bots instead and started the SP campaign again today.

well finally picked this up but man it gives me motion sickenss like no other game. I get a bad headache after playing this game. Even the menus in multiplayer are awful with there shaking.

No other game even crazy fast shooters like Unreal on the pc have ever gave me motion sickenss before, but man everytime I play this game i get motion sick. anyone else like that with just this game?

Not that I remember. But almost everyone complained about the menus.

I usually have motion sickness when playing COD games, but it goes away after a couple of hours.

My buddy gave me this game a few weeks ago and Im gonna start playing it in the next few days. I was wondering, on the back it says this game has: "Custom Soundtrack" What and how does this work?

Good luck with the MP. Awesome single player experience but I hated the multiplayer games.
