I will be trying Path of Exile this weekend as well. But I've been visiting gaming forums long enough to know to take its praise in the Diablo forums with a grain of salt. The grass is always greener, especially when the other game is closed beta.

Blizzard should probably disable trading until they can get this resolved. They should at least post about it on the login screen. There is no way for someone uninformed to avoid this glitch as the seller is allowed to change the quantity after the buyer hits accept. You don't even know the quantity has changed until you check your inventory as the quantity on the trade screen never changes.

Does Blizzard even ban the scammers? Now that they released a RMAH, the scammers are basically stealing money from people.

Also lets make sure we are joining the default "league". I read that you can only play with other players in your "league". It sounds like a league is a server. It doesn't mean a clan if I am reading correctly.

yeah, most of those positive reviews seem like plants...and I love how they open these betas then close them, but allow you to buy access to the beta...something they have done for a year. I know it will end up being free to play, but I do smile a bit at that.

The game looks fun, if not a bit clunky.

it appears to have been in beta stage for a long time. it is kind of suspicious that they may be wanting to stockpile some money before the full game goes free to play. if the game is fun this weekend, i may put up $10 to keep playing. I am just wondering how large the beta is? Diablo 3 had a very short one.

The Attrition leagues are a clever idea.

I just picked this up a few days ago. I was a big D2 player. I am still trying to figure out certain nuances with this game. So...joining public games is nothing like D2 where you see a long list of games you could possibly join. Correct me if I am wrong they just plop you into a random open game in which you select which quest and act you wish to begin. So there is no more getting into a groove with random player and doing, for example, cow runs or Baal runs repeatedly. Also, how the heck to you chat within a public game?

i decided to buy Diablo 2/Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction with my Blizzard bucks. I had never played them before. I was also concerned about the windows 7 issues lots of people have with the game. I had zero issues after installation. I guess downloading directly from blizzard helped. I am sure they had the game patched. The game is dated for sure, but i had a good time with the couple of quests I did. My only concern is that i got an error message while trying to connect to the online MP. Are those servers still up?

Did they fix the chat? I remember having to click on a button to make it party chat instead of the channel you were in. The "/" commands didn't work correctly either.

Yeah, last time I played I had to whisper to a person in my group in order to enable party chat if I was already in General or another global chat room. It was completely broken. I don't think there's been a patch since then.

I never noticed since I stay out of the other chat channels. They were always just filled with spam and people complaining.

Go spend some time on the Official Diablo 3 messageboard. It is quite hilarious. That is the most negative forum I have ever visited. The mods actually have a sticky about "Real Life Threats"

Some people have claimed to start reporting spam as a "real life threat" in order to give it more attention (since currently reporting it as spam does absolutely zilch).

Yup, i'm well aware. Blizzard games have a tendency to create a cesspool of user reactions.

There was a guy on there today bragging that he has 762 hours worth of game time. He said he is the elite of the elite I was like man you are an idiot that is 31.75 full days spent on one game. The game was just released in freaking May. It might would be understandable if that was his game time a couple of years from now, but not a couple of months.

Did he have really good gear? If so he proably made a ton of money on the rmah.
