so..reduced level requirement is your friend. As a level 53 monk I was searching for weapons, and I noticed one had reduced level of 3. Then I realized that if it was a level 60 weapon with a reduced level requirement of 7, that the auction house still saw it as a level 60 weapon. Knowing this, I found a weapon that gave my level 53 monk 13,000 dps. Cost was 100,000 gold.

Just cleared normal on Hardcore as a 32 monk. The first boss of Act IV was one of the scariest things I've ever done in a game :lol:. Now to level for a while before Nightmare...

Do a search for 1 handed weapons...set the level limit to 60. Under the stats pick reduced level requirement. Sort by dps...scroll down each item one at a time. Find the highest dps you can find for the money you want to spend that works for your level. WIN I finally went with a 2 handed weapon. I gave up some armor, but hell....since my dps is so high it does not matter. My air ally, which does 40% of my dmg, just destroys..and he is also surrounded by a vortex that does 1700 dps alone. My vortex when fully stacked does near 8000dps if I just stand there. Don't even get me started on what the 1007% dps 7 sided strike does to a mob of elites. 1 second kill on hell. |

Damn fox, what dps are the weapons you have? Best I could find was on that was like 1k on a 2 hander and that was expensive. How much dps does the weapon you use have?

speed% to attack is very nice also, that can give you more straight dps. Got 2 with 15% and went up 400 dps with just like 40 dps per weapon more.

Man the boss at the end of Act 2 is impossible on Nightmare difficulty. I can walk through any enemy in the game so far, but this dude and his constant stream of poison kills me in seconds. He does like 2600+ damage per second on me.

I had more trouble against Belial the first time in Normal where I died a couple of times having trouble avoiding the poison. I just beat him on Nightmare without much difficulty once I got better at moving around; once the stream of posion comes, it wasn't too difficult to run around until it passes for me while using potions or healing spells on my Monk when necessary.

So far the miniboss before you can get to Diablo- is kicking my behind in hell mode.
I might have been real tired but it was pretty frustrating. I doubt I will even try Inferno on my barbarian. running away from mobs all the time is getting pretty boring. |

i've been finally upgrading the jewler. problem is i am not getting many tomes of jewlcrafting. you can't buy those right now either due to the issues with the AH, right?

Add me, I'm in the spreadsheet. My friends and I are playing mp hell tonight. If we have room we'll invite you. Tomes drop more often with multiple people. Plus I got 3 square gem drops in 2 hours in that group
