Because I am a fancy boy and ordered the CE I will not be playing until tomorrow. By then I'm sure the rest of you will have cleared Inferno on Hardcore.

Sure enough, New Egg, which couldn't ship my copy of Starhawk out fast enough is dragging their heals authorizing my purchase of Diablo III, a game I actually wanted. I'll be lucky to be playing this game by the weekend now.

Damn I feel left out, how hardcore are the system requirements for this game?

My local Fry's ran out of Collector's Editions with about 15 or so people in front of me.

I have a digital copy, so I can still play, but to no one's surprise, the servers are too busy to log in.

And look, the battle.net website is conveniently down for maintenance.

Yes. Shocking that they did not have server capacity for the launch and that they took down their best way of talking to customers during the problem.

Almost an hour trying to play a game is a joke.

Just spent 15 minutes trying to login. FINALLY watching the Act 1 cinematic. Went for Witch Doctor.

Did get in after awhile. No problems since then, and no lag that I could tell.

Not hardcore at all. Blizzard has never made games with hardcore requirements because they want the average joe to be able to play.

Have you never played Diablo 1 or 2? 3 is just the same as them. Diablo has never been a MMORPG like WoW. You can play online on battlenet but there is definitely a single player campaign as well.

Even the single player game requires you to log in online to play.
