PS3 Online - Subscription?
How does the PS3 thing work online? Does it require a subscription?
How many users names can you have on it? Do you have to pay for each user name? Are they tied to email addresses or something?
Thanks

Yup, free online play. It's not quite Live, and the ability to have as many users as you like removes the disincentive to be a cheater or an a-hole. Still, free is free and I actually think the servers work pretty well now.

Thanks. Free sounds great.
On Xbox Live, it's frustrating being stuck with only one player name, when the whole family would like to be using the service under their username, but I guess it does help keep the jerk problem down.
I didn't think cheating would be a major issue on console games. Is it a rampant problem? Couldn't they tie the username to the serial number and keep the cheaters from being an issue?
