Change your suit more often. I think that helps with that one.

You love it so much that you'll spend it watching three hours of Game of Thrones?

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
The case isn't going for anything on eBay, so I'll try to find a local friend that didn't get the pass. I'm a sweetie like that.

Only 10pm....think I might give the new case a try now. |
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I had problems getting it to download, turned media server off and it started to work no problems.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
The Nicholson Electroplating case was easily the best one....very surprised at how much I liked it and will play through it again.
|
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
So it should have been kept in the game is what I'm basically hearing about this case.

It doesn't really fit in with the over-arcing storyline like the rest of the in-game stuff though. It's a really good one though, and the best of the three DLC cases thus far.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I thought the beginning of Nicholson Electroplating was superb, but the ending was ridiculous. It could have been that I got a "bad" ending (I 3-starred it).
|
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I take it that even though I went ahead and bought the Rockstar Pass, I can't download the DLCs until I get the actual game and do it from the in-game menu, right? I have no problem with that, but just wondering if there's any way to go ahead and queue them up.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
You got it. Totally in-game.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I'm not sure how the 360 works, but you can download all the dlc on the PS3 without the disc.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Okay, after seven or so cases, I have to ask: Is there a right way and wrong way to go about these investigations?
In one case in particular, after searching a perp's house and asking a few neighbors about his whereabouts, we bring him down to the station for questioning. At the same time, I still had other tasks/locations to visit. One was visit a bar, another was a fruit market. Now, in my mind, I figured I needed more evidence from these two locations before I question this perp. So instead if interviewing him, I leave and head to these two locations. I end up getting the guy in the end, but it didn't involve any questioning down at the station. So it's got me confused. Why would I have the option to arrest and question a suspect, if the locations and tasks involved don't demand it? Should I have questioned the suspect and his line of answers would've pushed me to those locations anyways? And if that was the way to do it, why would the game show me the locations before I question the suspect? So, again--is there a right and wrong way to play this game? |
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Not really. There are a few instances where the game expects you to go to locations in a certain order, and if you go in an unexpected order Phelps will talk about things he hasn't seen yet. And it is possible to finish a case without visiting all the locations and gathering all the clues (and your score will reflect this).
However, I'm unaware of a case that allows you to arrest a suspect without even visiting two locations. |
