I really enjoyed R&C: Future (it was my first foray into the franchise), I'd probably be down on the "expansion(?)" depending on <s>price</s> length. Light/dark sounds like a chore though.

DC Universe Online demo now.
|
So far it has been a pretty good conference. So much of it is still about catching up to 360, but I loved the Little Big Planet demo and the stuff for PSP. I'm also excited about Yakuza 2 for PS2 and glad it got mentioned on the show. About time it was brought to the US.
At least this has been a good balanced conference that has showed a lot of game footage and stuff for everyone. |
80gb core pack for $400. 40gb is phased out?

Also, does this mean the new 80GB will drop backwards compatibility and the memory card slots? |
Looks like God of War will probably be the capper since it hasn't been brought up yet.

Infamous trailer - Spring of 2009.

One final title Jack wants to talk about. Massive Online Action game.
Andy something from Zipper Interactive. "MAG" = Massive Action Game. Battles of up to 256 players. "Big moments". |
Is DC Universe online a PS3 exclusive?
|
It's a SOE game, so I would expect so. Possibly it'll be on PC? To be honest, I muted the conference then to listen to something else :p
|
I really want Infamous. Game looks awesome. MAG was a nice freaking surprise.
Overall a solid conference for them. Loved how there was no mention at all of FFXIII. |

Is it me or was Sony's conference the only one that catered to the hardcore gamer? Nintendo and Microsoft for the most part focused more on the casual gamer so I was pleasantly surprised to see Sony hit the hardcore base.

... Killzone 2 . PS3 looks to have a bright future. Any word/ damage control re: FF XIII? |
After Sony's conference, I'm leaning towards keeping my PSP and not selling it off. The Wii, on the other hand, would be nice to sell and get some extra spending money!

Super Stardust Portable was also announced and looked very cool.
The games combined with movie and TV compatibility had me pretty excited about the PSP. It had a much better conference showing than I thought it would. |
